Crossing the Atlantic on a Super Yacht!

Join us for our first Atlantic crossing as a team - lots of cooking, teak scrubbing and fun as we cross from Palma, Mallorca to West Palm Beach, Florida. Typically this time of year yachts actually cross the other way, getting ready for summer in the Mediterranean - but not us! We're headed off the beaten path this year, woohoo!

How ever much you’re being paid, you deserve more. The amount of work you do is incredible. From baking your own bread to making your own ice cream. Feeding 12 guests and 14 crew breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks. Creating flavoured butters. Thinking of new menus each day. Provisioning. Cleaning. It feels like it’s non stop. I’m exhausted just watching. I truly hope the crew, guests and the yachts owner all appreciate just how lucky they are to have you! I’m addicted to your channel and have been binging for 3 days since I found it! Guuuuurl, you rock!!!

You may have watched her other videos which are also outstanding; same good humor, good natured bantering back and forth with teammates, especially one fortunate lad, and even some of the U.S. National parks in the west. If not, consider doing that to become insanely jealous like the rest of us. It was especially nice to see the time-lapse sequences of prepping and cooking meals, cleaning the kitchen and related spaces, helping understand how much is involved in planning for such lengthy cruises away from land. Oh, to be fabulously wealthy and cruise from port to port with such a lively and fun crew. (cue Tevya's "If I were a rich man..." from Fiddler on the roof)

Like a doctor being struck off, a barrister or solicitor being disbarred. Few people have the capacity to operate in a confined pressured environment with tight delivery schedules. I've seen your other videos and recommend them highly, as well, including your RV travels to various U.S. national parks, since they brought back some especially pleasant memories of my own visits, and re-kindled my desire to visit others, such as King's Canyon. You hiked to Angel's Landing, in fact, which is considered one of the most "exciting" (i.e., frightening, terrifying, or similar characterizations) hikes in the country, and you did show a few views from that hike, but not too many. I can understand not showing too many lest you deter others from doing it, from what I've read and heard about it, but it may have been too nerve-wracking to video while hiking along parts of that trail, along a very narrow tip of a rocky ridge, almost straight down on both sides. Wild!

Brings back memories. Worked in the industry for 5 years as deckhand and bosun. Palma was my favourite place. I was on a 90m charter and the chefs definitely had the hardest job plus the engineers as it was a new build .

I should learn never to watch your videos just before a meal. It always Ames what I’m about to have seem so lame😢 Really though, your personality , drive, and skill just amaze me and I doubt I’ll ever tire of watching. Learn something new every time

At least when you're on the bridge you can look at the horizon to mitigate sea sickness, but yeah, rough seas deep in the windowless galley not for the faint of heart.

Love the videos. Fascinating to see how everything comes together. Would love to see the finished dishes if possible. Are you able to exercise when guests are on the boat?
