    MrNightpwnwer, it was absolutely amazing. Bimini is one of the most laided back places in the world with some of the best people you will ever meet in your life. The food is amazing as well. Needless to say we all gain a few extra pounds for the crossing headed home

    We always declare our gun and bullets since we started going in like 1994. Lately they have been coming to the boat to verify it, but that is about it.

    @@Amariellah hi, my trip was fantastic, it was an adventure and would definitely do it it again. Yes a passport is needed, have to go thru customs and immigration. I wanted to go back again this year but because of covid restrictions we decided to stay local. We went from Melbourne florida to Cape coral thru the saint Lucie cancel and lake Okeechobee...was really nice. I call these type of trips adventures, not vacation, because they can be a lot of work.

    Thanks for your video, very informative. One question: how much traffic do you see during the first 20 miles of your journey? Isn’t that area one of the most congested areas for boats and ships? I’d think you’re never out of sight of boats/ships during this part of the journey.

  • @richardpowers988

    @richardpowers988

    4 жыл бұрын

    It’s crowded for 1st 20 miles but really is not an issue. Plenty of spacing. If you leave a night you may want to have a radar but daylight hours should not be an issue. Hope that helps.

Would you recommend a site or share info as to boat sizes capable of making this trip ? Thank you. I am not aware of a site that gives you that information. You can cross in any size boat as long as the weather is good enough for your size boat and what you are comfortable with. Personally I would not have an issue crossing in your boat. It’s a fantastic place and you will love it!!
