CrossFit Quarterfinal 2024 Individual Workout 2
3 rounds for time:
50 wall balls
50 lateral burpee box jump overs
Time Cap: 20 minutes
Score: Cap+ 12 (2 full rounds + 50 wall balls + 38 lateral burpee box jump overs)
This one was the one I was most skeptical of as a test to get to semifinals but I truly believe this one will crush some people. I misspoke at the beginning saying 18 would be solid. That was with some poor math, not an overestimation of my skills. I think a solid time would have been 5 seconds per lateral burpee box jump over so just over 4 minutes there. Add 2ish minutes for the wall balls and transition time and a 6:25 round would be solid. With no fall off, 3 rounds would be 19:30, so close to cap would be awesome without any fatigue. Not to mention my wall balls are only to 9ft and I have the quickened pace of the ball bouncing back to me off the ceiling. Honestly the heat hurt my time, as well as a lack of switching legs on the step up burpees, my left leg was dying halfway through. Overall a fun test. Give this one a go. #wod #crossfit

This is awesome. Kids, the wife, the lawn being mowed and the garage. This is what CrossFit is all about.
