This literally went through my mind in class this morning... went hard in the warmup and felt way better in the workout.

Couldn’t agree more! I’ve preached this for years and people have a hard time believing it. I’d love to see you guys push this message more with the platform you have. Thanks for the great content!

Half of the year my stamina is not at the point where i can do a full body stretch and then a few different variations of bodyweight-resistance training just to warm up for an actual workout. On the other hand, at the end of the summer i can do a full body stretch, 20 miles bike ride in an hour and 15 minutes and still do a light workout afterwards. So sometimes i feel im literally not capable of doing the “Proper Warm-Up 🙄™️” before a solid workout.

A revelation for me. Still feels odd and I need more trust with it. But we tested a 500m row that just didn’t seem to have enough class warm up intensity. So I threw in my own extra 60 sec hard go at it (40 SPM , low leg drive) about 4 minutes before 3,2,1. Rest. Go. High stroke rate, leg drive, hold on, 3.5 sec PR. I was surprised.
