My daughter is getting married in June. She's a huge 2000's rock fan, and I am hiring a local band who specializes in 90's and 2000's rock covers. She knows about that, and thinks they're the only entertainment for the reception. What she doesn't know is that I've actually got Crossfade coming in for a 30 minute set followed by a 30 minute meet and greet. Can't wait to see the look on her face when I introduce them onstage!

The industry was definitely over saturated with similar sounding bands when this album came out. Right around the same time smile empty soul was popular. This album did well, their next one not so much. Still a great band though

I love these guys, their surprise third record in 2011 always gave me hope that they could come back. Sadly Ed, their lead singer, is doing some solo stuff right now and it’s definitely nothing like Crossfade. Here’s hoping someday though

I disagree but then again I am in my 20's and only listen to this genre because I inherited it from my dad when we'd go dirt bike riding listening to hard rock. there is still plenty of good music with a story behind it though, probably not the genre you prefer however

And on the other hand, the video is actually about a girl who was made to feel she should just fend for herself because the men in her life - her dad included - just couldn't hear themselves the way they talk to her and treats her like she's just a shadow or an extension of themselves and not the individual she needs to be. Talk about overbearing and insecure men.

Been rocking with crossfade since I was young. I'm 29 now, haven't listened in a couple years and here I am again. Just in awe at the artistry in this song. The changes in everything, it just evolves and contorts. I love it. This song holds a dear spot in my head as well form personal reasons. It's funny, as, I'm a rapper and hip-hop producer soz it throws people for a loop that I listen to this.

Please keep your head up. I wonder if I were to ever find my sister who committed suicide 7 years ago. I always think if I ever was to find her like that it probably would have changed my life but it nearly change who I was for 2 years. I stopped taking care of myself I didn't give a shit I suffered at the full extent fell off the Earth still here surprisingly. It takes a truly strong person to keep pushing on keep going through what you're going through. A lot of people have always told me that I was usually the strongest one in the family up until my sister what really set it into motion I was one of the last people to text her I was responding to a text and you know what that really took a toll mentally and physically on my body I shut myself off from everybody took a long time for me to recover 2 years is long time. I really hope you're still here just stay strong for your family. I still have brothers and sisters but I can't put them through it as much as I wanted you got to keep pulling through you will find yourself you will prevail you can do this. I am sorry truly for your loss and what you have been through it takes a toll on different people Everyone reacts differently but we are here don't hesitate to hit up talk do what you got to do.

My daughters Father shot himself on the phone with me at 3 am 25 yes ago . You will find a place to store it in your mind and move forward but your never the same. Life is never the same for his parents our daughter or me. If your thinking of suicide look in the face of those around you and DONT do it. You are loved .

Yes, I have Ed as a friend on FB. He mentioned new work from Crossfade coming soon. But that's what always happens. They release epic music, then vanish for years. I wish they'd be more connected to fanbase via social media so we at least know what's up. Love Ed's solo work too. Would be awesome to see another Crossfade album with Tony Byroads as well.

True same here I just rediscovered the song for the 1st time in years the other day and I've had it on repeat. I've had the song stuck in my head all day. It has a lot more meaning to me now than it did when I was younger.

Saw this band twice once with my beautiful wife and once with my best friend. Amazing shows.

I don't know why this band wasn't bigger... Such a powerful an crisp sound. Ed and mitch have the best voice for this kind of music! Love it....

I went to see them at a small venue back in the very early 2000s. It was at a place called The Swamp in Fort Walton Beach FL. Super great show and was definitely better in person.

You ever had to drown yourself into the music merely for the voice accompanying these resounding instrumentals? First and only voice that could calm me down, and just help me fight fight fight the relentless and ruthless pain in my entire body. Crossfade, never fade, you can't, you're already embedded in the souls of many, myself included, thank you dearly.
