Hi Jason - thanks for watching, I thought I needed to show the route somehow so I chose a low tech option and got the paint brushes out. 👍

Nice one , its been about 10 years since I did this route and those tracks near the mast are looking a little tired now. I've only done it on a mountain bike so good on you doing it on your touring bike , a few bone shaking at times I bet . I am planning a return so may use my cross bike and do some camping along that route next spring. atb Dave..

Border Rambler That section over the fells was a bit rough but soon after the Bloody Bush pillar there was another forestry road and a nice descent to the reservoir- it looks a great place for wild camping. You'll love the photo opportunities of the night sky when you do it...thanks for watching, cheers! Andrew
