@Da Royal General I would say that it is done. It's just that Dr Dre doesn't want to go another round, with all the promotion, touring, etc. etc. etc. that goes along with it, and then the inevitable beef and bullshit that goes with it. Besides, he's close enough to being a billionaire, so he really doesn't need to.

Death Row and Aftermath faced the same problems, The industry wouldn't let Suge generate buzz or market artist, Dre didn't know how to generate or market artist. You had to have a following, a major buzz, crazy ass gimmick or know how to push your own shit

kinginc2000 no, they faced majorly different issues. Artists on Death Row ended up dead, in major legal issues, broke, extorted, etc... many artists on Aftermath may have ended up shelved on their own projects, but I suspect they were used behind the scenes in working for Dre and his highly successful projects, as I DONT RECALL ANYONE NOT GETTING PAID (I could be wrong on this but I don't remember reading or hearing any former Aftermath artists saying Dre robbed them or didn't pay them whatever they were supposed to get). And don't just skip over the FIVE HUGE SOLO acts to come out under Aftermath in Eminem, Eve, 50 Cent, The Game, and Kendrick Lamar... Sorry for the novel, but yeah, those two labels are night and day...

I feel crooked as far as being on the burner but tbh he would of been better off in the long run b/c it ain't like Aftermath hasn't put artists out b/c game & a handful of other artists made it thru. I think Dre believe in grooming his ppl's to me that's what the game needs is quality music period. These labels just want to throw u out there to turn ova a profit & he does it to see his artists grow. Crooked had a nice grind before ✋ so he wouldn't of needed much but a little promo & da right budget to keep his music up to par.. sometimes patient is a virtue!! I bet he would of done now being that he is over there thru slaughter house / Shady anyways.. but ol G ok he will get his just do thru their group effort s & his indie grind. Tbh it's just bout taking da right deal as oppose to just getting outta the hood fuck round be owing & stuck on a label with no album insight ! $mh

In my opinion, I think if this went down, one of them would have to fall a little bit unfortunately. I think Crooked I could still blow up now since he hasn't been put out completely into the mainstream society. But if he had dropped along with Em and Aftermath, he possibly would have blew up then, but not as big as he's capable of now, leaving room for Eminem's success. Of course, that's if you still believe he CAN blow up or even WANTS to.
