It’s always weird seeing Crofty talk in person because 90% he’s a disembodied voice in our ear.

It truly is the greatest driving experience on Earth. On Tuesday I drove a 2011 Williams FW33 for 4 laps around Magny-Cours. I was worried it would take the edge off the magic. It had the opposite effect! Greatest machines on Earth! How any human can drive one flat out is beyond me. How they do it with 19 others around them is incomprehensible!

A year ago, when I watched Mr JWW drive the Renault, he was amazing and I was so excited about following him on KZread to see more adventures. At the 4:00 minute mark, I paused the video, started typing this comment, and pondered if I can ever watch another F1 race on ESPN with this incompetent bone head.

1:33 "David, isn't it?" Oooh what a burn hahaha. Brought down to earth pretty quick, when the bloke doesn't even know who you are lol. I mean Croft is not a huge celebrity as huge celebrities go, but in the motorsport world he is a known face. Apparently not to this mechanic guy. Why did he think a camera team was following Croft around. haha
