I bought myself a pair $3 "FROCKS" at the dollar store back in 2020 when all of the "Non-Essential" aisles were roped off at Walmart and shoe stores were closed (imagine not being able to buy footwear for your 4 yr old in the summer, and having to schedule an appointment to buy work boots???), and they quickly became my 'go to' slip-ons for everyday use, even when riding my scooter around town. Four years later I'm a CROC convert, and they are well worn but still 'kicking' around. I've since bought a few pairs of Walmart "FROCKS" in different colors for ten bucks, so they don't get exclusive use, but I just can't imagine paying $60-$80 Cdn. for a branded pair of what is essentially a pair of dense foam garden clogs that at a guess will be 10% more comfortable...remember, these things were originally carved out of wood.

This video was very helpful to me. Planning an AT thru hike for 2023 and had considered swapping out my tried and true crocs with the knockoff crocs because I heard they were much lighter. Your video convinced me to stay with what I have!

Take the Chinese ones! If you haven’t seen my update to this in the next video. The crocs shrink if you leave them or use them in the sun.

Crocs have come down in price some. I see some of them on Amazon for like 30 bucks.

My Crocs say made in China but I checked them there real or I think but does that matter

@@darrylg7600 first, crocs is an international brand.. its made up to croslite meterial.. Advantages of croslite metrials are its.. very smooth, comfy, baterial resist, more durable up to 4-5years, and strong.... the local or copy of cro'k's.. only less cost oke!, i agreed but how long its durable? Only 2 3 months..

@@thugbot7733 I will use the copy crocs. I wore the original crocs on a trip and they shrunk 2 or 3 sizes. The copy crocs are unaffected by the sun and heat. If they only last one summer makes no difference. I can’t even wear the original crocs anymore.
