I saw Crocodile Dundee a few times when I was small and this subway scene music burned its way into my head and stayed there ever since. I don't know why it took me so long to finally look this up on KZread, or what exactly prompted me to do it today. I'm just happy I did.

That subway scene was one of the strongest emotional times I have ever seen and lived through. It was so perfectly planned and executed, and the love between the two was so incredible that it made the scene that much more amazing. I teared up every time I saw it. And I still do. That's how you know that the director and writer knew exactly what they were doing, and you know what? They'll probably never make another scene like this in movie history again. This is, by far, the greatest dramatic love scene ever, and it shall always be...

2016, much time has passed since I was young and remember this music from my childhood. There is one thing I noticed that I wouldn't of realized being young. The people of the past (their personalities and emotions) will never be around for the much different future and technology. This music right here puts the thought in my mind that the generation living now will die with music like this, explaining who they were with the amazing composition of sound, but the song itself will never perish, and I could expire knowing that. Time is very powerful, and the people of the past even more so. Music taught me this, as well as the emotional effect it has on us. And lastly, the music or song being made doesn't have to be advanced professionally. No. This song is simple, calming, and has one of the biggest impacts of emotions . . . and there will never be anything else like it. Just like the people of the past . . .

Peter Best's music for this movie is addictive for me. I need a 60 minute version just to begin to satisfy my thirst for that way cool sensation it gives you. The composition captures Dundee's coolness vis a vis facing danger, capturing the beautiful Linda Koslowski (in the movie and for real), and the cat-like, smooth, unruffled way the character moved through life indifferent to the distractions of just about anything including city life . On top of all this, Peter then fashioned the melody to be something unlike anything else in that it is comforting as well as totally enjoyable. The production really crafted the instruments to give an irresistible sound and made the indigenous type of music both smooth and "Catchy" (Not easy to do). At the risk of ridicule because this music belongs to a popcorn movie, it is one the best pieces of music I've ever heard.

I keep coming back to this movie and it's sequel. It's aged pretty well and the music is as epic as anything else you could name. Such surprising quality for what at the time was considered a cute culture-class-comedy.

This song, simple, basic & uncomplicated in its texture, hits all the right notes seamlessly & harmoniously, thus does it strike the right primal & emotional chords, the ones that we can all identify with, treasure & usually harness with ease (when influenced by such sounds). Certainly casts a spell on me every time I hear it!

I remember watching this movie as a kid for the first time and as soon as it was over, I was outside picking up sticks to try to bash plants with. My mum bought me a tent soon after so I could camp out in the garden Dundee style. Didn't make it through the evening though. Far too scary in urban back garden 😂
