I have made this recipe with apple peach cherry Apricot I use 2 cans of pie filling we have had 1 flavor a week

Use a round 6 qt crockpot, 2 cans of grand cinnamon rolls, two cans of apples, layer from bottom up cin rolls, apples, cin rolls apples then pour about half a pint of heavy cream over it and cook for 2.5 hours. Add icing when it's done cooking.......delicious

I'm totally making this for Christmas 😍

Jenny, I'd probably use Granny Smith (green apples) or any apple that can be baked up into a pie! :) Let us know how it turns out, and what apples you decide to use! :)

If you use fresh, I would make it into homemade pie filling using your favorite pie apple. If you just want something a little similar using fresh, You might try our apple dumpling recipe instead... www.recipesthatcrock.com/crock-pot-apple-dumplings/ . Either way, I hope you enjoy!!

You're telling me that 2 tubes of cinnamon rolls and a bit of apple pie filling goes this far? My mornings have been wrong for years now! I've been cooking cinnamon rolls the normal way for far too long.
