8:42 i know this is a compilation of tiktoks but for anyone in the comments having the same problem, it looks like she forgot to chain one at the end of some of her rows. If you don't chain one after the end of you rows your project will keep decreasing and turn into a triangle instead of a square. Hope this helps!🙂

No, she’s skipping stitches. If you don’t chain then it gives you actually straight edges. (For single crochet)

9:17 you have to crochet into your turning chain. it took me so long to learn but at the end of every row you chain 1 and then you single crochet your whole row and then once you get to the end you have to single crochet into your turning chain from the previous row, if that makes any sense

As a teen, this has given me so many ideas for what I can do later on

Swimsuits are made out of the type of fabric they're made out of for a reason. Crochet bikinis look nice, but I don't think they're good for actually going in the water. It seems like a recipe for mold.

I’m not sure if it’s relevant anymore, but the girl in 8:42 it looks like she’s skipping stitches, like she maybe skipped a stitch in each of the rows and it also looks like she didn’t chain one either
