You should start with the basic stitches like slip stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, and if you want to you can learn triple crochet.

To be honest I would learn the magic ring and usually people will tell you that learning a granny square is the BEST way to start but it is not I would start with Amigurima also know as plushies 😊hope this helped!
