Hey Crafters! After some initial troubles uploading (and months of no crochet content🙈), I finally got this video posted! The video shows materials and every step of the process. If you also want a written pattern, click the link above to get to my Etsy shop and use the code for a discount.
This fun crochet pattern can be whipped up in an afternoon. The classic granny square is cleverly connected with lace-like stitching and attached to a hair elastic for extra stretch and comfort. Stick with a two-tone color-scheme or go crazy with colors for a full retro vibe!
Pattern uses US crochet terminology.
Finished size: 16.5 inch circumference by 2.25 inches wide, un-stretched.
(Note: Size can be adjusted by using more or less motifs; each motif adds 1.75 inches to circumference size.)
Materials:
2.10mm crochet hook - amzn.to/2RQNqDM
2 skeins of size 10 crochet thread, each skein in color of your choice
-Peacock amzn.to/2J7Wb9S
-Natural amzn.to/2KVmr9y
hair elastic (I use Goody's Ouchless 2mm Elastics in a neutral color) - amzn.to/2XI8FwP
tapestry needle (to weave in ends; metal works best) - amzn.to/2XEXgy0
scissors - amzn.to/2LB46hF
You’re welcome to sell your finished items from this pattern, but please credit me as the designer.
Filmed with:
Canon Rebel T7i - amzn.to/2nNJupm
Canon 10-18 STM Lens- amzn.to/2PdSwrY
BOYA Lavalier Mic- amzn.to/2RBGGff

Can you use yarn? I don’t have that thread.

  • @CraftersAutonomous

    @CraftersAutonomous

    3 жыл бұрын

Yes, if the yarn isn't too thick it should work! The basic idea with yarn and hook size is that if your yarn and hook size are bigger, then all the dimensions of your project will be bigger; if your yarn and hook size are smaller, then all the dimensions of your project will be smaller. So in this case, using yarn that is a little thicker than crochet thread would just mean your headband could end up a little wider and longer than mine.
