For any beginners wanting to do this pattern… it makes absolutely now sense and my beginner brain does not compute 😂😭 I’m on the 5th or 6th row and frogging this whole thing… for the third time 🙃

I tried my best to find at least person explaining and i didnt find anyone helpful. I am sure the author was trying their best to explain, but sorry it was still confusing and not clear. So for those who are confused as i was: chain around 59 +2 according to width needed, dc each chain, r1: 9dc, ch2, 1dc, ch2, 13dc, ch2, 1dc, ch2, 13dc, ch2, 1dc, ch2, 9dc R2: 7dc, ch2 sk4, 5dc in 1 chain, sk4 ch2, 9dc, ch2 sk4, 5dc in 1 chain, ch2, 9dc, ch2 sk4, 5dc in 1chain, ch2, 7dc R3: 5dc,ch2 sk4, 5dc in 1 ch, sk3, 5dc in 1ch, sk4 ch2, 5dc, ch2 sk4, 5dc in 1 ch, sk3, 5dc in 1ch, ch2 sk4, 5dc in 1ch, sk3, 5dc in 1ch, ch2 sk4, 5dc…. Follow this till end

What's the finished table runner size with border and without border?

Sorry don't know how to show you.but have followed your chain 40 (chain 10) + 2 which gives me 36 cm.you don't give chain to make larger or smaller.

At the end of row 2, you crochet 8 DC, then, when you turn to start row 3, there are only 6 DC on row 2. 🤔

I have finished one full set of pattern. It is mentioned that one full row of DC. So from one shell how many DC do we make.

So am I chaining 52? What does that mean? 40+(10)+2???

Yes you are right dear . But just 1st calculation was put by default. Others are accurate . You can trust and follow the pattern and see the result. 💐

Hello. the explanation you give 40+ 10+ 2 = (for me) 52 and then you don't get out. could you please correct that. anyone who can count comes out to 52 stitches. 57 stitch to create 4 figures. Thanks for your explanation

You can use any dk yarn.

I take 40 chain for mid design . 5 , 5 (10 ) chains for both sides of the border and chain 2 for starting the other row . Same as equal to 1 dc 1dc = 2 chains Here in the 1st row. We skip chain 2 and make 50 dc . 😊 Good luck dear

First you should start with 52+ 2 (2 for 1st double crochet / someone make ch3 for 1 double crochet) it's up to your chain length.

After finishing your pattern, you said to do dc in all stitches, but that is not right if you check the pattern in your post, also the 9 dcs made in the last row will distort the shape if you do dcs full. You have not followed the pattern as per picture in your post. Confusing!!!

If you add the row of dcs, don't you see the distirtion in the design? Also you will not get the same number of dc from the beginning, it will be increased. Seems like you don't know how to do the pattern. Better to follow the picture of the complete design, as I can gauge from the picture the stitches to be made. Also, in the picture the first stitches should be the 9 dcs then the 5 dcs.... so you are not guiding us in the right way.
