Probably way too late to help, but if you're not English, her pattern wouldn't work since there's a difference between American crochet and English crochet

Totally understand the star motif obsession! I am the exact same with anything that has a butterfly on it, jewelry, clothing, accessories, you name it!! I actually made two of the butterfly tops you mentioned in the beginning😂 As of now though, im obsessed with this pattern and this top!!!

in this video and in the ribblr pattern u said ur using double crochets so is it actually single crochets in US terminology?

are you using two strands of the dk yarn for this project? ive made it once with only 1 strand and it looked like the size of the first prototype you showed but when i tried making it with two strands of dk yarn it was huge! so confused

Can't do a star emoji on desktop but it's lovely ! I love the Bernat baby velvet yarn and it looks really nice and soft for this piece. Also I wasn't sure about those like shruggy shirts (the navy green shirt thing you wore what's it called??) but the more I see people style them I really like them. I like how you combined it with the white cami underneath ~ thinking of crocheting one to go over a short sleeve dress for wearing in the fall ~~

Hi! So UK and USA crochet stitches are annoyingly different! but for my pattern i use american terminology because that’s where most of my audience is from :) so a double crochet in usa is actually a treble in the UK

The UK calls it a triple stitch whilst the US calls it a DC, I believe : )
