I had to use a smaller hook size to pull the loops from the slip stitch when making the star stitch. As a beginner, it was a little challenging, but I'm satisfied with the end result. Thanks for the tutorial!

Made one of these for my dad's birthday. He loved it. The difference rows came out kind of skewed, so it doesn't look perfect, but this is a good pattern!

Hi! it was helpful, but for the row 2, I'm unable to do slip stitch using the hook that I have. Can I just make it a single crochet?

Such a pretty pattern but this one was hard for me 🙃 mostly bc of trying to fit the last 3 loops of star stitch into the right stitches. I tried loosening my tension in row 2, the slip stitches. And I can’t seem to get the end of row 3, the last star stitch right. I keep ending up with an extra stitch.

Mam may I know which yarn u were using
