One of the things about your channel I appreciate the most is how it feels like you are sitting right across from me and having a conversation with me. I guess what I am trying to say is that I, for one, appreciate how much you talk and how absolutely conversational and personal it is. I was in a bit of a rut tonight too, and I listened to your video and you talking and it calmed me down and just got me out of my own headspace a bit. So you are actually helping some of us more that you realise. Let people be mean, let them show who they are and then let them walk by your life and disappear off in the distance. Those are the types of people whose opinions do not matter and should not make a difference in your life whatsoever. Let the people who matter, matter. I appreciate you.

You are one of the best and most interesting crocheters that I follow. You not only have to be talented but also able to speak to an invisible audience and make us feel as though we are sitting on the other side of the table. Keep doing you, you are very successful. Don’t engage with the trolls, they will get bored eventually and move on. It seems many nice folks have been suffering the same attack and had to post about it.

Getting use to the invisible audience is the hardest part. Believe it or not once people started commenting on videos you feel like you are talking to them. That is probably why the trolls bother some of us so much. I have noticed too, that several of the channels I watch have also been overwhelmed with it this summer.

Quite the comedian, too! I started watching u tube in January and crocheting and trying to restart my business at 70 years old. I felt the crochet community was special. I've noticed lately that other people have been attacked! Don't they have anything better to do besides hurting other people? Jealousy is a hurtful word and has ruined innocent lives. Shame on them! So Robin, you have so much to give and you are one of my favorite u tubers!

Dude, Robin! Great Sunday and many blessings to you! Wow, it was One of my sisters that pointed me towards your channel She said, “check out this ladies work and YT channel, She reminds me so much of you” ha ha cuz I dig talking about yarny thangs. We totally get ya and your humor and references, etc! Yup, I have also been dealing with a couple of mean girls that volunteer with me at the hospital; they are around my age and I am 67 years old and been crocheting knitting and embroidery since I was about four years old. I don’t need people to sit there and make nasty comments to me and our Director because they don’t crochet and I don’t involve them .. although I have tried to interest/teach them in the crochet and knitting fun time, what? Course what I do during downtime is for the patients and nursing staff and our Director has our backs. It’s been like a month, and just like you in a funk ugh it’s Sunday, and of course I went to Sunday mass and afterwards I spoke to our priest and he advised me to continue doing our Lord’s good work- just like you are doing Robin! It is probably jealousy from that person because you have a lot more followers. Honestly, I am petty…I would name and shame them for that. But I’m sure that isn’t the best way to handle it. I just know my reaction would be along those lines lol. I love your channel because it feels like I’m sitting across from a crochet friend and having a wonderful, creative chat. Plus, I learn a lot and discover so many amazing patterns too. Don’t ever change! Sending you lots of positive energy!

I remember that blanket video! I still have that yarn, but I only had one spool of each so I couldn't make it. I was thinking of doing a huge granny rectangle blanket using all of them. But it's going to be 90 degrees and no air conditioning so that's my October movie watching project. 😂

I've followed your channel from the beginning and have always appreciated your honesty along with your talents! I know it's easier said then done but usually when people make negative comments it's because they have NO talent and they are jealous! Block them and don't waste your time on people who have nothing better to do... What they fail to realize is whatever you put out into the Universe comes back. Karma doesn't lose an address, let the Universe deal with these low vibrational time wasting jerks.

Quick question... I'm curious about the michael's order of sweet snuggles light that you recently made... In another video you were talking about having issues with the parfait chunky, And that you were waiting for a sweet snuggles light order from michael's. I too have been having that exact same issue with the scratchy, sticky yarn, but I in fact first noticed it with the sweet snuggles light, sweet snuggles, chenille home/ slim. At first I was just noticing it little-by-little but a couple weeks ago when they were having a huge sale I ordered 20 skeins of the above yarn and NONE were the usual softness stuff except 1!! I was so upset , but they actually refunded everything for me. That doesn't fix my problem though😔. I am also now noticing it with the parfait chunky as well as himalaya dolphin baby. What is going on!??? I haven't really been crocheting for that long so I wasnt sure if this is something new? But, you are the first person that I have heard mention it and i've been thinking it's weird that I haven't heard anyone else talking about it. Did your order come soft? I've noticed that some are just "okay" And others are terrible. Thank you for always such useful information❤ All your stuff is awesome. Don't let others make you second guess yourself. (I try to tell myself this everyday but struggle with it myself🫤) Everyone is on their own chapter of life and it's just too exhuasting worrying about where they're at and why🤷‍♀️🙈🙉🙊😉
