I love lighthouses! Just completed my houses, now I have to sew them to my blanket! A few yrs ago hubby and another couple took a cruise to Canada. Was supposed to go to Peggy’s Cove to see the lighthouse, due to a storm it was cancelled! One of these days we will go back. I really want to go to Peggy’s Cove! Thank you! By the way nice haircut🙏😻🧶

Hi Sandy! Mr. InStitches and I finally made it to Peggy's Cove around a decade ago, it was beautiful! I loved the way the landscape looked on our way out to the Cove and lighthouses are fascinating to me. The little town of Peggy's Cove was adorable and quaint, it looked like something out of a historical movie! I hope you get the chance to visit at some point :)

The lighthouse is so cute! I gonna make one to sew on a blanket I have made that needs a bit of color! I have recently bought those yarn needles you use, and they work amazingly! So much easier than a normal yarn needle! Thank you for the great tutorial!

It took some coaxing (and a few takes and a LOT of laughter) but we did it!!

Love your lighthouse but not sure I will add it. I am a landlubber and don't live near a lighthouse. Lived in Central Minnesota, Colorado, and Texas, not near the Gulf. Maybe add in the end?

I LOVE this! I would never crochet this because I'm lazy but it looks so neat. Just one question, the bottom part is blue like the sky and the top part is green like grass. Why didn't you switch those two so it looked like a sky&grass? 🤔🤓

Hi! The landscape moves from ocean, to town, to country, to forest and finally to sky (think of it like the eye traveling from the coast line up through distant fields, hills and then the sky above). Hi Jayda, I have a problem sewing the pieces on . Thay look sloppy. I make small stitches but thay end up showing to much. I have trouble centering things .making them even. I am going to quit. Making me ctazy

Hi Nelda! It helps to use the loops of the blanket that are directly below where you want the edge of your applique to sit. Just sew a couple of stitches at a time, back away, realign it if you have to and continue - that's what I do!

Put a boat on the water next month wouldn't hat bee nice.
