I’m making this for my granny’s funeral. She liked crocheting so I’m finding small and pretty patterns to do for her funeral. I really like this design and you have a great personality and easy to follow! Thank you for this video ❤

Thank you 😊 it's nice finding other fellow Aussie crocheters. I know there's probably quite a lot out there, but there's something special about connecting with them. X
I am a beginner so maybe it’s a common knowledge to experts but using the needle for the perfect invisible stitch for closing the rounds was a heaven sent discovery for me. Loved your work and with your awesome video I am on my first crochet mandala. 🙏🏾 ❤

I finally got to the end. I made a mistake on round 4 which I didn’t realize until I was doing the cluster on round 6. Hahaha. Oh well. It still looks pretty. Thank you c I slowed down the video playback and that helped me out. I love that serendipity pattern. Beautiful! Can’t wait to try that. 💕

I would love to make this larger
Could you do a tutorial on the Salutations Mandala trivet, specifically round 11? I am not clear about the fpscs - - do they connect to the previous round, or round 9 like the initial fpdcs? and which sc are we joining to?

Hi Lauri, thank you for your question. Can I recommend you join the FB group. There's one called The Loopy Stitch CAL group, you can post questions in there for help and myself and fellow members are able to answer there, sometimes with photos. Hope to see you in there 😊
Hi, thank a lot, is beautiful! There is a way for make it bigger?
@theloopystitch
2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your question. The only way would be to make it in thicker yarn with a larger hook size.
It’s beautiful I just had a hard time keeping up starting on round 5 and then became completely lost. My piece started to curve up way too much on round 6 so I’m not sure what I did wrong. It started to look more like a hat lol 😂

Hi Quinn, there is a written pattern too that contains round-by-round photos as an alternative, the video was just an extra. Also, check out my FB groups for help too. It's hard to know what ppl are doing by a comment only, feel free to join those and/or email me as well :) x
Thank you for sharing! On mine, with the last round, I decided to chain three and picote instead to give just a bit more point.
Super💕👍🏻

I really like this pattern . I think it had much to do with color choice .
I can't figure out how I got lost. I have 16 treble clusters, 8 fpsc. If I put 4 sc in each cluster & 1 sc in the chain spaces between them, I only get 72 sc, not 80, and then it's not enough to set up the petal row. I keep recounting but I get the same thing =/

Are you placing a sc in the clusters too?

Hi there, unfortunately not as easy as it sounds. I'd recommend finding a pattern of that size and trying from there. I've seen quite a lot of round table cloths turned into them, people just stop at the round where it fits. Ira Rott, the designer, also has patterns for one, I know off the top of my head.
It's really beautiful! You go too fast at times and i can't always see what your doing. The way you hold your needle is something ive seen before!! How on earth you can do that is a mystery. I couldn't concentrate on the pattern at first cause I kept getting distracted by your hold! I love your work it's nice and even

You can go to the settings gear in top right hand corner and change the speed of the playback to a slower speed so you can follow easier.
Pretty pattern. I wish you were slow down a bit and show exactly where your inserting your needle. It wasn’t clear on the single crochet round where you were placing some of the stitches.

Hi Peggy, thank you for your comment. There is a written pattern available too if you need something to refer to as a PDF. Recently self-diagnosed with ADHD - and this is me going slow... it's so so hard to go even slower. In future videos, I will try even harder :) If you need help, there are FB groups too that you can post photos in for reference :)
what hook size are u using??

Thank you Terry, I'm glad you like it. I've since discovered I have ADHD and this is my 'slow'....it makes sense why I find it so hard to go even slower 😅.
It’s a beautiful pattern but I’ve found you just go too fast with your stitches.

Use the method on your phone to slow it down. Looks like a small wheel on the right hand top corner.
This is the first time I get confused You're not explaining it very well and very fast.. your voice is not following the image... Very hard to do
