You could single crochet around a couple to whole square a couple times.

Slip stitch, dont chain any stch Skip one stch On the 2nd one (3rd from slip) - Treble crochet 7 times - 1dc - 2dc - 2dc - 2dc (here, slip stich in the front loop and then 2times dc in the same stch) -2dc -2dc -one dc -7 trepple crochet - slip stich and heart done For granny On the top of the mid of the heart, add new color yarn Chain 3 Dc Half dc Single crochet 2dc Chain 2 and in the same stch, one double crochet In next 3 stches one half double crochet Next2- one double crochet One treble crochet Downward trebble crochet chain 2, in the same stch, downward trepple crochet, same stitch, one double crochet

Hello, do you have a pattern for a granny square that is exactly the same size but without the heart? I wanted to make a cushion with solid granny squares and this heart one, but I don't know how to make them the same size

this is definitely a rectangle, i know i didn't make it incorrectly 3 times in a row, stitch count definitely is off between the top and sides -__-

agreed, this is not the only tutorial on YT mine varies between 10 and 11 on sides for row 2 white, and 14-16 top/bottom - def a rectangle, I also used extended tr instead of a quad as found the bottom corners to 'long'.
