I love that you make me want to do small work it wasn’t really a favorite of mine but my grandmother crocheted with thread sewing thread and she would make doilies hundreds my mother is alive and she still has all her own doilies my sister Lisa made beautiful doilies !! I’m in the mood …. That pink is perfect

Yeah you can do that, But I prefer the other way as it's a doily, it takes long time to set on the blocking board.
