I would feel more comfortable wearing a crochet top with lining since it can be so see through sometimes. I had no idea you could do this! You did a great job concealing it underneath too. Your measurements and stitching are so precise!

Aw thank you.. yes it’s way comfortable to wear a lined crochet pieces it’s easier to move around without worrying of accidentally showing something not supposed to 😄

It’s personal preferences I guess some liked it with lining some dare not to have lined, also some crochet pieces is okay not to have lining but there are also crochet that’s stitches it too far from each other hence it’s see through 😁but if it’s in the bra area def recommend lining 😄

I've been wanting to line the inside of my crochet tops but i never do because i forget 😂 this is a sign to already do them plus it's so easy to follow!!

I love your tip about putting a mark on your thumb so you can measure the sitiches to make them even. As someone who has frequented the KZread historical sewing space for many years now, I’m pleasantly surprised I have found this hand sewing tip in a crochet video, but it’s so mind blowing I can’t wait to share it with others doing hand sewing! Hi this is my first time watching your videos, and I am having a hard time hearing what you say with the music playing. I know my hearing is not your problem, but could you either turn the music down or talk louder please.

Hi hun I’m sorry to hear that, unfortunately I cannot turn the the music in this one or it will also turn down my own voice, but what I can do is I can turn on the subtitle on in English so in that case you’ll be able to read the detail instruction of whats going on in the video.hope it helps if you have more concerns and questions just let me know . Did you wash the fabric to prevent any shrinking BEFORE you sewed the fabric lining on? 🤔

Hi no I didn’t wash it and now after lots of washes it’s still fine.

This was a super cool video, I basically never comment on yt videos. Quick question, would you think it would be that hard to handsew the lining panel instead of a machine? I have a machine but I barely know how to use it. I havent been able to straight stitch properly on it. Thanks!

Hey lovely thank you so much for tuning in appreciate it🥰🥰- my sewing skills is super beginner 🤭 just the basic and so when it comes to fabric lining a crochet garments I think it’s preferable to hand sew them since you don’t want the sewing stitches visible in the front of the crochet garments- if you machine sew it it’ll be visible in the front unless there’s a way to do it but I haven’t figured it out yet as I’ve mentioned I’m very beginner when it comes to sewing..-hope this helps ☺️

What material did you use? Mine is stretchy and it’s not lying flat. Thanks!

It shouldn’t have to be doubled. Is there a reason you doubled up?

Please don’t add music to your videos when you’re speaking. It was hard to follow what you were saying. Music should be used when you don’t want to talk in the video, like a tutorial with no voiceover.

That’s 3 years old video and I was only starting when I made that video so I don’t know any better so my apologies if you can’t hear my voice.. second since then KZread develop this thing called “CC” or caption that YOU CAN TURN ON so instead of listening to my voice you can just read what I’m saying. Thanks heaps for tuning in 🥀
