Hi, sure. The thing is that if you want to join in pattern, you would have the extra challenge of joining and at the same time, changing the yarn color for the diamond pattern. Otherwise, you could go for one background color and you wouldn't have to worry about changing color :)

@@user-ty3kz5kx2j hi, for me, 3 rounds are about 3.75" (9.5 cm) but I guess that the gauge is not too important for this project. You can simply work as many rounds as you need
