I am wondering if you realize that rhe wrong side of the scales are on the top side of your work which means that the right side of the scales which should be on the top are hidden. Other than that the video had an excellent angle and great volume.

OMG! I can't believe I did it! I'm a beginner left-handed crocheter and when a friend of mine posted this to her FB page, I thought it looked so cool but thought I couldn't handle it. I did it!!! Had I read this in a pattern only (I have a baby pattern) I would have thought it was impossible but your tutorial makes it easy to understand and follow, however I must say, I didn't find the need to "turn" my work as that complicated things for me. Thank you so much, I feel so proud of myself!

You are the first people I have ever seen that hold their hook the way I do. The women at my knitting/ crochet group thought I held my hook funny. Also, I taught one of my friends to crochet holding their hook this way and they said it helps with their carpal tunnel. :)

I've crocheted for several years and I have always figured out a pattern, I just had to stay with it or sometimes put it down and come back later. Eventually I was successful. I love crochet and it should not be a chore it should be fun and relaxing. So, I've started to ignore some of the new or what appeared to be more difficult stitches. But, your tutorial videos make what I was avoiding look so easy! THANK YOU so much for these videos. I can now do different patterns without the stress of figuring out the directions.

Okay, this looks so much easier than other tutorials and now I'm mad I didn't see this one before ruining the purse I'm working on! I like the way you do you posts instead of having a single post between double posts. I made a lot of mistakes on the way I did it and missed some double posts so now I have to force it into the string on half a post. I'm not undoing all that work! I like your stitch tutorials the best because you explain things so well.

I can read most patterns and get what they are on about as long as it's well written, but this one was just eluding me. So I came to KZread and decided to crochet along to this video to see if I could figure out where I went wrong. Thank you so much for this turorial. I have watched others and tried the written pattern and still had trouble but yours had me on scale row three before I knew it. Thanks again Mikey!

Thanks Mikey - very clear tutorial. Listened and watched a couple times. I'm a visual too, so frogging and repeat until I got it perfect!! Love this stitch, and looking forward to doing a big project - I think a mermaid tail for my Granddaughter.

Thank you for this! I had been looking at a few different tutorials but I became confused during the first turn around. This made it very clear! Thank you!

Thank you, Michael. I, too, stayed away from this stitch but with the help of your video I think I'll like it now. Your video is very easy to understand. Thanks again and have a wonderful cruise. I wish I could go.
