I like this pattern but I'm having a really hard time with there being no stitch count on the pattern. I'm trying to start the v stich and scales but I have a uneven number that I can't seem to fix and the scales don't fit correctly because of it.

I like the video, but it's already difficult to see how the yarn/stitches look in a video, I see no reason to whitewash the video, it's even harder to see. Thanks anyway
