    This was the 3rd tutorial I watched on this C2C technique, the other 2 left me confused but this tutorial has me moving right along! I am making my 1st blanket.

    This has got to be one of the best instructionals for C2C I have ever seen. And drawing the diagram out on paper and following through with the arrows pointing out the directiion of crochet stitches etc....wow. Definitely going to look up more of your videos.

    WOW ..... this C2C stitch is done sooo different by sooo many.... I have been watching nearly all the C2C videos that are on KZread, and most join with a slip stitch... Then when they are doing a decrease it's a 50/50 of simply turning the piece and doing the slip sts. but some are chaining one as a turning chain. ... Then a lot of demos. are chaining 2 for the half double crochet stitch.... Then I have seen some that are chaining 5 & 2 with reg. double crochet stitch. I'm a well seasoned VERY experienced with Crochet, 50 + yrs. I have not done a C2C project, I'm fond of Tunisian simple stitch... So I am preparing to make a blanket in the C2C and was doing my research, on the method.... Only to learn that there are Many! methods..... This has got to be one of the most versatile Crochet stitch methods I have ever encountered. BTW, I'm very fond of your videos, and RED HEART made a big mistake selling out to "Yarnspriations"

    Marly Bird, you are one great teacher, so clear and the best I've seen. My only problem, and it's just a personal thing as my sense of direction is impaired, is not being able to see the whole paper pattern on your video. Other than my own problem, thank you for being so clear in your directions.

    Hi Marly! I am doing a baby blanket and the border I’ve chosen has to be in increments of 4 plus one for each corner. How do I know how many “squares” to make to ensure I get this result? Do I need to single crochet around the edge first and force the correct number or are the stitches such that I can do a 1 for 1 single round? I hope this question makes sense to you. Also, how big do I make a baby blanket?????

    I am new to this pattern. Your C2C corner to corner stiches has too many holes in it; albeit, you use half double crochet stiches. Instead, would double crochets possibly work better. I don't get it??

    The pattern I am wanting to work shows the diagonals running in the opposite direction of what you are showing. As in for row 2 instead of working up and to the right I would be working down and to the left. How would I do that?

    I am making a C2c blanket. I want it to be at least 55" wide and length. How many blocks are needed before I start the decrease

  • @MarlyBird

    @MarlyBird

    That would all depend on the gauge of your hook and yarn. I think if you are able to just "wing it", then begin to crochet and when it looks about even start to decrease.
