Such a sweet little Christmas Gnome!! I went up to an "I" hook bc my glitter yarn was a chunkier 4 wt. Gave him black boots and gave him a white pom pom oh the stocking cap - sl st, ch 3, 3 dc, ch 3 sl st same stitch top of cap! 🎅

I have a lot of medium 4 yarn but I dont have a 3.75 hook but I do have a 3.5mm & a 4.0mm would that be okay to use?

Hi Alliey, 3.5mm and 4.0mm or 5.0mm are good. You will have a smaller or bigger gnome depends on smaller or larger crochet hook size that you use.
