Make this easy, quick crochet ball. The ball has a rattle stuffed in it, so it makes cute sounding crochet rattle ball. It takes very little time to make, and is a perfect gift for newborns.
I have used,
1. 8ply Cotton yarn
2. 4.00mm hook.

04:58 Make 12 Pentagons
05:11 Join Pentagons
05:55 Stuff
Steps to crochet ball:
1. Crochet a solid pentagon with minimal gaps
2. Make 12 pentagons
3. Sew them all together
4. Stuff before closing it down
5. Insert rattle between stuffing if you need it.
Feel free to use any yarn and corresponding hook for the ball, based on which the size of your ball will vary. The crochet ball in the video measures 12 cm in diameter.

Did you mean the kilukku/rattle? I just put a bead inside a small round plastic container(which was actually a mittai dabba) & it made a beautiful sound. :)

Hi.Ive crocheted the 12 pieces but when it came to join them i found difficulty! I didnt understand how to! Thanks

All you have to do is use a single crochet stitch to join them. One pentagon,surrounded by 5 more pentagons makes a semi-circle. Make two semi circles first and then join them in the end. Please let me know if you had trouble joining the pieces or making them into a ball shape. Thank you!

All done. But When i had joined the two semi circles together i got a star 😅. Then i re sewed in a different angle n then i got the ball shape.👍🏻 Thanks again❣
