Religion these days is less about bettering oneself and becomes more about being a part of a tribe or some super nation state, waving the flag of said tribe and your image of God, designating yourself different/better than those not part of your tribe. Maybe a religion is just a means to an end to have a deeper relationship with God, to better oneself, to evolve. Look around you, look at our so-called leaders, most of all, look in the mirror-clearly, we need to evolve.

mongoid, im a huge fan of CRO-MAGS & im glad you now know cro-mags weren't neo nazi rascists. AOQ,1st release is a worldwide classic among hardcore punk metalheads skins,[rascist &anti] bikers, & crypts, lyrically like a soundtrack to life of the streets, their shows were violent as there was no unity among fanbase, 2nd cd BEST WISHES was the start of many krishna themed releases ....

religion is there for you to take elements from it to improve your life and mind. its only the extremists in any religion that give it a bad name. fundamental and creationists are the worst advertisement for religion. I believe in god, i dont practise, i should though, and I know that approaching a religion (regardless of which one) the right way can be an enlightening thing.

Obviously there were others before Hinduism - but it is the oldest of the main religions practised in the world today by a long way. Nothing is all knowing. I do seek my own answers but realise no man is an island. I am not a pacifist. I am not a hindu, but i respect hinduism and Hindus more than people who worship slave religions. Hinduism was not founded by slaves so is not a slave religion. Nietzche was critical of Christianity, He respected Muslims kind of and was very fond of Hinduism

..how the "warrior" aspect came into this conversation at all. Maybe you found it fitting considering you are a fighter of sorts, but in the whole of this debate, it is irrelevant. Since you respect hinduism, and hindus more than slave religions, do you have much respect for anarchists? they also seek their own path, free of restriction, yet typically they are anti religion. Since India is predominantly hindu, how do you explain hindu factions trying to overtake sri lanka? That is enslavement?

Oldest religion? is this proven? All religion is made for slaves. the only difference is that it appears to be a somewhat undefineable religion. Because it is old doesn't mean it is all knowing. Can you not use your mind to find your own peace? Why religion? And out of curiosity, why did you choose to quote a warrior must fight if it is in their nature to do so? Not very peaceful. I can't say Nietzsche would be a motivating factor in my quest to find religion either. he was quite critical of it
