Even the lowest level pro MMA fighter is someone you don't want to mess with. They're still training more than the average person. Their cardio is probably better too. People look at fighters with poor records and talk a lot of shit but they'd get destroyed by them too.

lol Hunt lost because he wasn't capable enough of kicking. not because he was badly injured. in MMA, Cro Crop would be KO'ed instead. Hunt's punches are strong enough to KO someone as durable as Roy Nelson, who beat Cro Crop. you should watch Nelson vs Cro Crop and then watch Nelson vs Hunt.

But Samoan/Tongas are tough in sense that they have steel jaws and skulls extremely hard to KO. Different type of "toughness"

That was the greatest high kick in the history of MMA. Such perfect bait, such perfect timing and technique. Would have killed 9/10 people who aren't fighters and KO'd most fighters.

There are some things I will never know. One of them is I will never know how Mark got up from that devastating left high kick. Having a granite chin is one thing but this goes beyond that in my opinion.

That Limey announcer is so in love with Hunt (or so out of love with Cro Cop) that he ignores Mirko's scoring punches.

these are two great fighters. It's cool to see mirko when in his prime.

I love the sportsmanship. Admirable and decent. Good Fight, a good show from both sides.

Don't know how Hunt was even walking after this.

Is it me, or are 2 rounds missing? And if they are, where can I see the whole fight?

Mark admitted he hated training. He wasn't as committed as many other fighters. He said he wouldn't eat clean most times and he would duck training and play games he only did it because he loved fighting and the money. If this was him fighting after all that just imagine if he was a fully committed fighter he'd be dangerous. It's one thing us Polynesians lack is consistency because we are stubborn asf.

the turning of his planting foot is his first tell of the kick. instead of twisting, he falls backward, allowing his kicking foot to leave the ground in the same motion. it's a very quick release, but while his back foot is twisted he has no balance. he is floating on a rotation, anchored by his foot, making him easy to push over (if you can catch him in time).
