I’m a paramedic and I’m thinking about doing the medic to RN bridge. And honestly ultimately CRNA. I can do things like intubation, and use some analgesics as well. Super excited!

at what point in crna school are you completely "on your own"? I want to do this but I'm nervous about the timeline and ending school still "not ready"

Question for any crna or crna student out there: I'm aware that there will be long weeks like 40-60 hours but did you still take time to have fun like go to a concert nearby lol? Also, if you have children, were you still able yo be present for them? Having family support is key but were you able to be there for them?

After a few months, you get your bearings and will be able to gauge how much time you need to do X, Y, and Z. This lets you be able to set aside time for your family and extracurricular activities, without falling behind. The amount of content you're learning and being tested on is grueling, so it also depends what kind of study habits you have and how well/fast you learn. Some people need extra tutoring and some will not be as challenged in some areas. Overall, you will be able to set aside some time for what you want to do, but not much.

Hey, I work at that hospital!! Which school do you go to if you don’t mind me asking so I know which school to sign up for first when I go to CRNA school.

So I’ll be moving to Florida soon, do you have any recommendations on what schools to look into?

I love following your journey through the CRNA program. Can you document you first year post graduation. There is a lack of content for that phase of the CRNA journey. Be Well!

Hi, I got a question about the CRNA school, I'm considering getting an ADN at a community college and doing an RN to BSN program online, would that decrease my chance of getting in compared to the regular BSN program?

Not at all, and definitely a most cost effective route. Just be sure to do well on your bridge program
