Really different! The kid must have been caught in some kind of repeating time warp or something! I assume that the 'forest demon' - or, whatever you call It - had to be involved with the process of temporal repetition. Good story! Almost like a "Twilight Zone" or "Outer Limits" episode!

@@dqreps Yeah that stuff holds UP, Ronin and for good reason. It was groundbreaking AND soulful....For example take a story like" A Passage For Trumpet" bout a down and out Jazz musician, or "Big Tall Wish", a story about Boxing, both written by Rod himself.... Rod also gave a lot of new/ undiscovered writers opportunities, especially people of color, which was not common at that time to say the least, and that goes for actors as well, like Ivan Dixon who starred in "Big Tall Wish", .one of the first if not THE first shows to feature an all black cast on television...we're talkin 1960 ..?! Feel me ?!.....Dixon went on to have quite a distinguished career at a pivotal time for African Americans and this show was his first cinematic appearance if Im not mistaken, regardless it surely was one of them... Speaking of Boxing, as you probably know if you are a fan of the Zone, it was Rod who also wrote "Requiem For A Heavyweight" perhaps the most compelling tale of boxing and boxers to this date Peace

I've heard of scaring the shit out of yourself but this is ridiculous. Aw man. It was some faceless monster. I kind of liked the idea that there was just some weird time portal and he was only scaring himself. But it was very well done.

If you see your doppelganger it means you are going to die very soon. If you went up to introduce yourself I think you would probably fade away as you got closer. I wonder if the doppelganger would fade too or take up your place in life?

Just WOW!!! Never been camping. Always wanted to, but have changed my mind! Lol This was great! I figured out there was time a traveler because the image on sign looks like a hourglass and the boot on the ground matched his. I thought maybe he was going to get lost and keep finding his own boot in a time loop. Just one question...who would put up the sign...? Very Twilight Zone!

That was excellent, but may I offer some feedback?. I think when he lept out of the tent, he didn't distance himself from the tent itself as far as one probably would. He seemed more creeped out... as someone would react to a spider perhaps, rather than something sizeable enough to be an animal that could pose a significant threat (fox, wolf, wild dog, what have you). Even a few metres further from the tent would have appeared more natural (just my opinion). Apart from that one minor point, both me and my Fiance loved it, and loved The Flying Man. Have you considered entering the Sundance Film Festival?Your work seems well up to standard. Approached any directors or studio's? You've got a great M.Night flavour to your work. I hope to see you make a splash in the big leagues in years to come. You're very talented! best of luck, Marcus!
