I keep forgetting this is how DiCaprio got his start. It's honestly the last film you'd expect. And sad to say, him, and the still great puppetry are really the only good things about this one.

That's a good low budget horror movie but I can't forgetting how legendary Leo DiCaprio got his start and puppeteers. working really hard on the critters effects almost hurting their hands and the Explosion of the silo and producers Heard Boom Zoran you were funny making jokes you're so good with kill counts for critters and James will be back.

Really sad that due to franchise effect, this video probably isn't going to get as many views, because this is the best Kill Count in a while. The humor in this one was just so perfectly on point, great work. Zoran and the Dead Meat team did a stellar job with this video.

The fact that Critters 3 was the movie that started Leonardo Dicaprio's acting career is one of the reasons why Critters 3 is one of my favorites of the trilogy! Even though Dicaprio was only a kid at the time he really sold it when he played the role of Josh in this movie!

11:28 I was always under the impression that the effectiveness of the Critter's' quills depends on where they hit you. Either the closer to the head or in direct contact with certain veins are the most effective and can knock you out instantly, where as other parts of the body are less effective (they tend to aim for the neck and hit the jugular). Josh was hit in the neck, as where the people in the other movies, and were instantly knocked out, the others who weren't knocked out where the dad hit in the arms and Rosalie in the rear.

So happy to see this Kill Count! I saw this one when I was a kid and eventually went back to watch the first two. This was a great KC Zoran!

God, i swear DiCaprio never gets old from 1991 nowadays he aged fine like wine 🍷

Zoran, I just wanted to let you know, I really enjoy your taking over every now and then. I don't know if you get to choose the movies you cover during these, but I love that you cover these B Monster Movie series!

Zoran doing kill counts is like when you went to school as a kid and found out your favorite substitute who gives everyone candy is going to be there

I've enjoyed all the Zoran Kill Counts so far, but I think this one is my new favorite. The references were top notch and his wife is super cool for helping out with these.

The badger reference from UHF was great, love the small references to obscure 80s comedies. Keep up the great work

Man, Dead Meat doesn't have a single weak host (or teammate) on its roster. It doesn't matter who's writing or presenting, I have NEVER had a bad time in all the years I've been watching the show or listening to the podcast. The funny part was it actually took me until adulthood to watch any Critters content. I had a babysitter who showed me Gremlins WAY too young and lied about what it was I'd go along with it. I was not prepared, freaked out, had nightmares for years, and when I became aware of Critters as a kid my brain immediately went "HAIRY GREMLINS, NO!" ...Of course these days I'm a gleeful reprobate who enjoys dissecting practical gore effects in Terrifier (and, of course, these days I ADORE Critters)

"Non-David Tenants" that got me

Frank Longo struck me as a cross between Ted from Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure and Schneider from One Day at a Time. Nice Last Action Hero reference.

"Mushroom, MUSHROOM." Writing jokes for this show must be a blast.

I'm always a sucker for horror films that take place in an apartment complex. Demons 2, Poltergeist III, Rec, Sweet Home, Shivers, heck Im even a fan of Troll. Just having all those lives right next to each other gives so many cool options and it gives you an atmosphere which is simultaneously claustrophobic and varied. Probably my favourite horror setting.

Ah man I missed it

I remember gaining a level of respect for Leo when I saw this movie because of how he took a quill and still did his best to help out. Loved all the references, jokes, as well as the fun fact with all the cool effects done with such a low budget. I don't remember a whole lot of Critters except Leo taking the quill to the neck and the giant critter ball from the 2nd movie. Probably couldn't hurt to rewatch the series.

This is some pretty fresh dead meat....I'm so glad to be on time!
