He had quoted the Quran ayat from surah 47 verse 4. But he never mentions the surah and ayat number.

War, prisoners of war, taking responsibilities of women from enemies, etc etc to be the reality to have women slaves or right hand possessions as per the Quranic law. If that situation comes in, Muslims have war against their enemies, taking people as prisoners of war, Muslims have to take the responsibilities of the women of the enemies too. Either they can marry or take them as their right hand possessions to stop spreading social crimes related to women and sex. But again, they have to give full right to the women in their possession as per Quran. Women will have similar social right, protection and treatment like their wives. Born children will have similar right of their wives' children. Born children of their wives and the women in your possessions must have similar right, similar protection, similar treatment. It’s a huge challenge for the believers. May Allah guide us in right way. Ameen, summa Ameen By the by, Hazrat Maria (peace and mercy be upon her) reverted to Islam before her death.

There is no slave concept after Quran specifically mentioned it that you have to free them, at the best you can take a compensation of them from your war enemies...this is what Ghamidi sb has explained in many lectures on slavery in Islam... in this case also it was explained that in that time of the world it was a slow gradual process as recommended by Quran and prophet also followed this and instructed for this, in case of Haz Maria every muslim accept her as ummuhatul maumeenin, prophet gave the best treatment to her as per the traditions of those times.

Anyway, if you kindly give me the reference related to omission of the Quranic law on Right Hand Possessions please. Slavery is no more allowed in Islam that I know. Islam is the only religion that made the way to stop slavery. But the concept of Right Hand Possessions is still in vogue. Zazakallah Khairan

Mohammad Aminul Haque the only door of slave beginning was war prisoners... Islam did not initiated slavery... it was there since centuries when prophet Muhammad was received Quran. At one hand Quran addresses the problem of existing slave by providing them rights and opening their way of freedom by many ways.....on the other hand in Surah Muhammad 47:4 it declares war of Prisoners will always be freed either by taking a ransom or by giving favors to them.. this was the gradual process of eradicating slavery... Quran never sanctioned it infect it gave laws to treat existing slaves and closed the door of making of new slaves...
