@@hamzanaveed8746 He is a decent cricketer, but not an icon-esque cricketer like Babar yet. In ODIs, his strike rate is 83, which is poor considering all openers have around 90 or more. In tests, his average outside Pakistan (62) is less than 30 in every country. T20i, he doesn't play. Long way to reach that level.

Imam is a proven performer in ODI and Tests. Its disgraceful that people call him a cheat especially off the field in restaurants etc while with family. Respect is crucial for one's character.

the fact that he called dani bhai sir all the times showed how much of a gentleman imam is 💓

the parents part was so sad to hear hope he goes big in the upcoming tournaments and has the best run of his life! inshallah.

I never considered Imam as parchi, but I was highly against his playing in ODIs and T20s. I always considered him as a test batsman. But now, he is my favourite

First time heard him and really liked him as a person and as a cricketer... Such a gentleman he is... Probably that's the reason he is on this podcast by Daniyal Sheikh! Btw, I recently met Muhammad Asif here in the US and he is a great human being as well. Had a fan boy moment, despite being an Indian and I told him about his spells against India in Karachi and Durban :)

Mentally a very tough guy. He is one of those who is a very underrated classy reliable Left Hander Opener, and is lovely to watch when he plays. He has improved so much and is consistent top of the order that we have forgotten that Pakistan had top order issues right Aamir Sohail & Saeed Anwar retired. Thanks to the eye who spotted him and has put him into the XI. And thanks to him who took it positive and made Imam-ul-Haq as Mr. Consistent. Well done and keep your spirits up! p.s. such podcasts should be happen frequently, so people would get to know sportsmen better.. and its really sad how people misjudge them like did to imam.. unfortunately, people don't think of them as "exclusive" as so called tik tok stars and others. people are now more reactive than to be better responsive, dont give others space to explains themselves. such platforms should be given to these people to explain themselves better
