Make dua. Even if you think everything has been decided and nothing can be done. We are incapable of understanding how Allah handles our matters and a sincere dua goes a long way. "Perhaps the misfortune that you do not like, leads you to a beautiful destiny that you never dreamed of." people underestimate the power of dua. It’s the only thing that can change Qadr, so keep our needy brothers and sisters in Islam in your prayers. Whatever you’re going through, know that it’s going to be okay. Trust in your heart. Know that Allāh is watching and loves you more than any person on earth does. And that’s what’s so wonderful. It amazes me how the happiest days of your life can be followed by the saddest. And it amazes me just how beautifully the Light breaks in when we feel as if the darkness will never leave. All things pass, and that’s one of the most humbling things about this life.

May Allah Honour us with knowledge and make us able to practice our deen not just in the comment section but in real life

The verse referred to by the Shaykh around the 20 minute mark is.. O mankind, indeed the promise of Allah is truth, so let not the worldly life delude you and be not deceived about Allah by the Deceiver [i.e., Satan]. (Fatir [35] : 5 - Saheeh International Translation of Qur'an) Tafsir Ibn Kathir: O mankind! Verily, the promise of Allah is true. meaning the Resurrection will undoubtedly come to pass. فَلَ تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا So, let not this present life deceive you, means, `this life is as nothing compared to the great good that Allah has promised to His close friends and the followers of His Messengers, so do not let these transient attractions distract you from that which is lasting.' وَلَا يَغُرَّنَّكُم بِاللَّهِ الْغَرُورُ and let not the chief deceiver deceive you about Allah. This refers to Shaytan, as stated by Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him. Meaning, do not let the Shaytan tempt you and divert you away from following the Messengers of Allah and believing what they say, for he is the chief deceiver and arch-liar. This Ayah is like the Ayah that appears at the end of Surah Luqman; فَلَ تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ الْحَيَوةُ الدُّنْيَا وَلَا يَغُرَّنَّكُم بِاللَّهِ الْغَرُورُ let not then this (worldly) present life deceive you, nor let the chief deceiver deceive you about Allah. (31;33) Then Allah tells us of the enmity of Iblis towards the sons of Adam

And peace be upon you

Could anyone please answer this question? I'm in my second year of uni nearly finished it and I will then have a year left. I found out recently that student loans may be haram. What should I do now? Do I just quit uni and leave without a qualification when I have a year left or do I carry on. Someone please advise me. I am in the UK.

Maybe figure out a way to pay it back as fast as possible once you get hired or take a smaller amount ? I avoided student loans and suffered for it
