Nothing in this animatic makes sense, but nonetheless, here's a few things to know beforehand:
This features audio from Laura and Liam's playthrough of Elder Scrolls Online: Blackwood. I just reimagined it as Vex and Vax actually creating their own little adventuring selves for the world of Exandria.
This was mostly drawn before TLoVM aired so I did not use any of the official character designs from that.
I drew Vex's hair way too long.
I drew Vax naked a lot.
I did Gilmore dirty. I'm a bad girl.
Again, nothing in this video makes sense. Try not to apply too much logic to anything you see.
An issue I'd like to address (5/24/23): With recent news that has come to light on social media, I'd like to make an apology for an in-video reference that I cannot do anything about at this time without taking down the entire video. While I do not have all of the details (nor does anyone else except the involved parties), I acknowledge that I do not support Bryan Wayne Foster, and would ask that everyone viewing this video overlook the reference I made to him in this video. Obviously, I couldn't have possibly predicted the future while I was making this video, but I still want my audience to be aware that I do wish I could remove his animated presence in this video if I logically could. I apologize, and going forward, there will be no further references to him made in any of my videos.
Everything was drawn and animated in Krita, editing was done in Adobe Premiere Pro.

the entire VO bit had me in tears - you somehow managed to translate each scream and yell and hysterical unintelligible noise into the PERFECT visual,, like how????
this is absolutely AMAZING i cannot BELIEVE you did 18 whole minutes of this, i'm eating it up like ice cream, it's PERFECT.

I like how this whole animatic feels like an alternate universe(AU) of Exandria, where Vex and Vax never joined up with Vox Machina. And they have American accents. That, and I love every single one of the cameos and references you put in there! *LOVE 'EM!*
"Sneak, sneak, sneak, sneak" has "Don't Be Suspicious" energy
This is THE greatest animatic I've seen! An 18 minute video is already crazy but it's ALL CONSISTENT?! Thank you for animating and uploading this, it's seriously incredible!

The most hilarious is how perturbed you make them look when they run across their own voices and I’m living for it. I suppose that’s the curse of being a voice actor for something you like as a pastime (anime, games, etc). 🤣
This is a work of genius! And so well executed! The number of visual gags you can pack into a 2 second sound bite and then keep up that same energy for such a long time... amazing. Hats off to you!

It took me a minute to remember the significance. Travis used it in his one shot? With the little stuffed unicorn?
I just disarmebd a bear-trap! After Vax already walked fully into it, dripping blood, is hilarious. Also the general chaos you managed to convey with these two.
So... many... frames... Those fight scenes were really well choreographed too!
Vex admiring a very pretty Percy is my favorite bit.

Three things make it even funnier: one, the detail on Percy's face, two, the fact that he's climbing out of a window, and three, the fact that this was nowhere near how went in the game, so the changes outright hilarious on its own. I love this bit too!

This is FANTASTIC. I can't imagine how much time this all took, and there's so much love and passion that went into it. Thank you for sharing this delightful ball of fun with us (and thank you for caring about people's health!) There's so many amazing jokes in this that had me laughing out loud. The Matt Mercer as NPC appearance. The Perc'ahlia "I want you". Vax unlocking the door and making Vex think she suceeded at lockpicking. Panning directly to the bear cub and then Vex picking up a dog instead. Caleb walking by with "that might have been me".
THIS NEEDS MORE VIEWS!!! Loving all of the VM jokes!

My favorite thing to do is find animatic creators with your level of talent. And subscribe! It may take a month, it may take a year but eventually something awesome like this will come across my feed. There's value to the short animatics most folks make for sure, but these long-form ones have so much personality and passion behind them. You're a pro!

I watched the original video that this audio came from and I really like the reimagining of what the characters would actually be doing while they were talking. Very good work!
All the little Easter eggs are fantastic 😂 Essek making off with the beacon really got me
I cannot even articulate with words how impressive this is! It must've taken so many hours but it is so worth it. All the little easter eggs and puns! The truly chaotic sibling energy. The awesome audio editing! The art itself!! Thank you so much for sharing this with us. I smiled for almost a whole twenty minutes watching this. And even on my second watch through I was still finding new details and little things. The details are incredible!
