I wish it was easier to notice when you get shit by his tactical but that's my only complaint. It could also just be that im not used to countering him

I love that ult especially with a havoc in the sling. Also, he's great in a team fight with his ult up.

That last tip about waiting to fire it from behind cover or different direction is super key for hitting the smart bullet

A rampage would also work for his sling because you get a free thermite charged fully kitted 2x hcog sight rampage when you use it.

If you lose a 1v1 as ballistic you need to spend more time in the firing range. It gives you a huge advantage over your opponent when you start the fight with his tactical

You better hope they miss their first few shots or youre one clipped before you barely take your gun back out lol so many ballistics are slow with it and just delay their shooting and expose themselves to try and use the tactical

Any weapon with a hop-up in his sling is pretty much OP. Ive seen alot of people running the re45 as his 3rd weapon.

Since they added disruptor rounds back I switched from the RE-45 to the alternator for my third weapon.

Personally i think re45 or mozam are the best options since it gives them hammerpoints

Personally I go Mozambique because of its damage in one shot

Try putting an re45 in the Sling it shredds with the faster reload and hammerpoints

It doesnt stay revved up, it just revs instantly when u ise ur ult, i tested this in the range

So far my favorite sling weapon is the havoc for the turbocharger or re45 for the hammer points & reload speed! Honorable mention is the wingman for skull piercer...

Mozam goes hard

Having a sentinel or rampage in the sling will instantly charge them with the ult. Keep in mind revved rampage breaks doors.

People forget it can break down doors still, which just makes it all the more better for Ballistic to run it if they're comfortable with it.

I always carry a rampage as my 3rd as it fully charges when you ult

I go with Mozam in the sling. Im usually popping the ult to third party where people are going to already be weak, so I fly in with the hammerpoint mozam that shoots really fast and dominate them

Yeah been rocking Re-45 as my sling weapon. Hammerpoints are disgusting, the handling speed is absolutely ridiculous and I tend to run a 301 or R99/CAR so I can swap to it normally without needing that extra stack of ammo Something I haven't seen much of is snipers in the sling: sentinel gets fully charged when you ult and is essentially a timed Vantage ult and I have a feeling someone's gonna find a good use for that

Best weapon in sling is re45 hands down i got 20 kills 4k on the 2nd day since he came out so Wednesday. And it’s absolutely the best gun for him since u get insta hammerpoints. If ur trying to farm 4k as him get a charge rifle and if u can shoot really long range just put it in sling and use ult to get gold sniper sight

idk about you but I like running a mozam sling just cuz its funny

Tactical is also great as a recon tool too, just run around with it out when you are in areas where enemies could be inside buildings or tall grass areas can’t believe the amount of people i have locked onto by doing that.

Was excited for fragment but its a dissapointment atleast 2 teams in every small building so boring

I see so many people throw the tactical in a straight line and it always ends up hitting a wall, missing the target. It works best at an angle to get value from the lock-on turn that it does mid-air.

My fave with his Laing ult is the mozam its goated

I love the Mozambique in the sling. It melts enemies.

Re-45 is my go to sling weapon.

i usually have volt slinged since i only use slinged weapon if im in a bad situation or if im in my ult

I like keeping the rampage in the sling. Ontop of it being upgraded it instantly thurmites it

I like using a shot gun for the holstered weapon because if u use a pk you don’t really need any attachments

I've gotten so many cheeky kills with the smart bullets initial 20 damage, it feels like too much damage for something thats close to unavoidable if the ballistic knows how to use it properly

Finally a legend that fits my playstyle.

You can use his tactical while shooting,so if your m&k or have paddles or can use multiple fingers on a controller,you can beam someone and use his tactical while doing so

Its the combo of ult and sling, that I can always melt atleast 1 guy before dying and buff my squad dramatically. I always feel like a god.

I think the sling should always have a weapon that covers an area that your other weapons don’t, such as fire rate, range or burst damage

New season looks sick and ballistic looks balanced not to bad but not op

I had to sell my console recently so I haven’t had a chance to play :( but I feel like a wingman would make a good sling weapon tbh. It’s good with no attachments and a gold version with skull piercer for his ult would be nice

I don't think you can be too sneaky with his Tac considering it tells you when he locks on. It's really only good in close range engagements because breaking LoS and making the bullet whiff anywhere beyond that is easy, and the projectile doesn't move fast enough to nail you before you can react. It doesn't go around obstacles so it'll try to track you through walls and hit that instead.

I disagree on the PERK: Ive heard it explained that during his ULT, his perk selection becomes supercharged with unlt ammo... So id think something like the Havok or PK would be better. The R99 is already fast. Just a thought...

Run the rampage your already playing ballistic and when you ult it gives the termite charge without using one

His ult is one of the best in the entire game if you have a group that likes to work as a team. He is definately a legend that demands cooperation and not people running off to try to get their 20 bomb.

So if everybody doesn't know I'm sure this will get fixed really fast so this was just found out that you can start his alt when it changes the gun to Gold you can actually drop it on the ground and pick it up real quick and it will give you a gold gun for the rest of the game I'm not sure 100% exactly how it all works but

I just found out that the ult auto-charges a rampage. I won't be putting anything else in there ever again if I can help it.

After seeing this all i can think about is how this helps lower weaker players. I dig the ideas around the character just not how its play .

This guy is 100% going to catch a nerf, ranked final zones are already hell, and now everyone is basically playing at 1.5x speed with the reload and upholstered speed buff

If you arent actively playing the new character when their released especially an assault class legend now youre going to severly miss out not only playing him but learning to play against and around him better.
