could you explain, how ensure the trustworthiness of the qualitative research finding (especially phenomenological hermenetics)?some said it needs triangulation some said no needs to be triangulated or member check because it can alter the data and change the research interpretation...I've been researching about this and still doubtful...

Hi Andrew, I'm fumbling my way through my first ever critique of a qualitative study. The rationale is totally unclear there doesn't seem to be any mention of it at all. In my head I'm reading the aim's of the study as a rationale. Am I wrong to do this, I mean surely the rationale for doing it is because they want to achieve the aim?? Many thanks.
