The Ronaldo of 2016 to 2018 was suffering a injury from the euro 2016 final. In 16/17 Ronaldo was supposed to be back mid season but you know how Ronaldo thinks he pushed himself that’s why you see him not being fluid.

I would say more the 16-17 season. I do think the 17-18 was not his best either but defo better than most parts of the 16-17.
