For me, this is his best season. He was scoring goals for fun and dribbling like how he did in Manchester. He 'only' scored 33 goals that season because he was injured and played 35 games, otherwise he would have scored 50 as he usually does

I agree and I’ve been saying this for a little over a year now. This season he showed the dribbling and chance creation ability of his 2006-09 seasons but was even more devastating in front of goal. Had he not been injured for those 2 and a half months, 2009-2010 would have been Cristiano’s first 50+ goal season.

@@DB-lo1iy he was injured for almost 2 months in 2009/10. And his style definitely wasn't similar. 2010 onwards it was almost all power. He was certainly more agile in 2009/10.

That third goal is pure iconic. Those who say he can’t beat defenders he can’t dribble look at that 😊

​@@peterjackson2060 lies, there have never been a player like cr7, for his size and height he was a great dribbler and blazing fast with the ball, have great finishing with both feet, from long range too, great vertical leap to score towering header goals, plus he was very consistant I doubt there will ever be anyone like him again, back in the day we thought gareth bale would be like him, tall and explosive, but gareth was never as consistent and never as good as cr7, He is truly one of a kind Im assuming you a messi fan and nothing wrong with that, tbh i appreciate both, but as for messi, we had maradona, and we might have another Messi one day just based on that, cause also its easier to play football when you are shorter due to center of gravity and the ball glueing to your feet easier, but as for cr7, i doubt it, cause that level of hard work to be able to play football at that level when u are 6ft2 its really hard

Gone are the days where you could make a 10 minute compilation for one player from a single game... A player getting a 3-4 minute compilation made from a game is considered to have done incredibly well these days

Thats actually my favourite version of CR7. He was incredbliy effective with 1,22 Goals and Assists per game. But he was still so agile and fast. He could dribble past multiple defenders easily, scored with his left, right, head or from outside the Box. Also he had a very good Vision. Sadly he had to change his playing Style to not get injured.
