He got braces and went to puberty. You don't need to be filthy rich to fix your teeth and diet/work out.

He definitely had dental work, but he's been in front of a camera lens constantly since he was 18. Every change in his face gradually resulted from him filling out and getting older. I'm a Manchester United supporter and there was never a moment where he appeared and suddenly looked different. There was a camera on him every day, be it paparazzi or training images. Footballers don't have time to go and get work done without anyone noticing.

Nah his actual ramus is longer now and you can literally see the outline of his cheek implants in some pictures, Braces can do a lot but absolutely nothing can physically make you ramus longer besides surgery. You should educate yourself on what these surgeries look like on the face and the subtle signs of these surgeries. It might be difficult for a regular person like you to tell, but plastic surgeons literally do these surgeries all the time and they know how it presents itself on the face. If you look at before and after pictures you will see that his ramus or jaw angle is lower on the face, it’s longer, which can only be achieved with implants. Especially because he was a full grown adult when these changes occurred when his bone structure was already fully developed. Also of course he could appear natural to most people, that’s the entire point of surgery. Jaw and cheek implants aren’t like lip fillers which are immediately noticeable to even the average person. Implants are literally created to look like a naturally strong bone structure.

One thing to note: Ronaldo was crazy famous ever since he was in his teens. Him going to Real Madrid was just cherry on the top, not much more.

As much as a lot of the changes may be attributed to him 'growing into his face', I think he's definitely had some work but it all seems subtle and appropriate. Let's hope he doesn't go overboard in the years to come. Also, his skin is beautiful! so whatever he's doing is obviously working

Agreed, I am actually surprised he doesn't look much older than he does since it is typical that athletes, footballers, etc spent a lot of time outdoors due to their careers. I can't remember who but I remember a retired female tennis player stating that her son used to make fun of her turkey neck (which is why she went under the knife) which she developed from years of competing professionally in the sun without sunscreen.

I've been watching him playing since he was 17 and actually not much has changed besides going through puberty. 1- He had his teeth fixed with braces (2 years) that helped with his bite and jaw development. Then probably a set of 6 venners to even his smile and whitening. 2 - He has his nose injured playing few times so it's possible that while having to fix it (breathing issues) the surgeon took the opportunity to fix the tip a little bit. 3 - He might have fillers/botox once in while but nothing invasive. Cristiano Ronaldo spends all his life playing football and training. He's always on the public's eyes and wouldnt risk going under the knife for vanity. He's not a celebrity, he actually needs his body in perfect health to keep his job. He doesn't take breaks between "movies", albums and tv shows as the rest of the others folks.

Love you, Doc! You are the most compassionate doctor doing these surgical analyses.

He was always good looking, he just needed a good dentist and dermatologist

Technical about bullshit...sure.

From a dentist perspective of view, he had more procedures. In his earliest picture you can see he has no upper second front tooth, with the braces they either made place for an implant or for the bridge. Also he had his whole smile redone at least 2 times.

And every 2 years, when there is neither of the other 2, we have Nations League. All with a duration of 2-3 weeks. Then big teams have tour in USA or Asia a few weeks before September. So please tell me about this LOOOOOONG BREAK EVERY SUMMER. And if you ment in the past, then you should have written all in past tense and not present.

I could not even tell you why I enjoy these videos so much.

The most noticeable change is definitely the veneers or crowns. And the smile is redesigned multiple times throughout the years. The cheek & chin changes are very subtle but tasteful.

If you look at a lot of photos of his younger years it definitely looks like he's had the tip of his nose slimmed down at some point. It's more refined than it was when he was a teenager.

excellent surgery choices. he really upped his brand. I would 1000% get the same surgeries he got and start botox when he did. It has helped him look amazing in his 30s and probably will help him age much more gracefully than most guys.

I’ve actually seen face tones change due to exercise with toning or losing weight especially. The body can be weird when it comes to how it forms, decreases and builds when you’re constantly active

In his case it makes a lot of sense. It seems to be a business decision more than anything else. Given the cost, he could have afforded all this from an early age. Considering inflation, the cost would have been much lower more than 20 years back. As his prominence rose he has made these subtle changes to become more photogenic and attractive looking. He has also worked on multiple languages, especially English. The result is that he has the most endorsements over anyone else. At certain points he has been the richest athlete in the world and is always in the top 3/5. This impacts not just endorsement earnings, but consequently, club wages, since he sells shirts and merchandise for them. Its human nature to be influenced by attractive looks. He is just capitalizing on it. To make money, you need to invest money. In his line of work, this is a valid investment.

As a man whose face has changed over the years naturally (especially jaw and cheeks), I don't think he's had any work done. I've experienced similar changes. All men's jaws get wider as they age, actually. All teenage boys have a way softer looks. I actually miss my soft teenager face, but hey.

I was a male Model. Bolivian American. And have been blessed with Natural good looks. Natural chiseled Jawline, Nice formed neck. High Checkbones, and full brows with honey colored eyes. Not blowing my own horn, but as many have mentioned to me through out my life an career ? I'm better looking than Ronaldo. The point is ? He's definitely has had facial construction done. This is a know fact about Ronaldo. Even Ferdinand mentioned he stares at the mirror more, than improving his Football skills. He looks more fake than Natural now. He's agine not as good as he wants. Ronaldo did have rough texture skin to begin with since teenager. Love yourself, don't modify for Vanity.

I think his facial changes might be due to physical toning and aging facial structure change but his nose and teeth might have been altered

To me he looks like he has a brow lift too, in the most recent pictures his brows are way up from the corners than before even when he's not moving his face.

I was aware of Cristiano’s dental work and Botox. As for the pictures/images of Cristiano exhibited to denote the likelihood of mid and lower face procedures, these images simply look like they were captured from definite, different angles with different lighting. I also have noticed when his weight slightly fluctuates.

It’s good but do you realize he was 18 then. His change came in 2006 after the World Cup. When you gain weight your facial look changes too.

my face shape completely changed from 16 to 25, used to have pointier chin and chubby cheeks, and now i have prominent cheeks bones and a more oval face. happened naturally and ive only lost about 10 lbs since then. maybe thats what happened with him?

That is very possible. It’s super annoying when ppl rudely and ignorantly assume (especially out loud) that we must have had “work done” just because of our defined cheek bones and other natural features. Ppl even mistakenly insist my super long hair is due to extensions which it isn’t at all and it gets really tiresome showing my roots actually have nothing attached to them. Reminds me of the video where Tyra Banks got her chest publicly x-rayed to prove her breasts were all natural. She didn’t owe that to anyone but can see how it would help her get people off her back about it. 🙄😡

One thing, I sometimes have doubts, coz my brother was kinda oval in his early 20s but gradually his jawline became prominent and more like square. His cheeks muscles are more define. Could be a combination of all these things, cosmetic enhancements plus his healthy routines,who knows. But seriously, people underestimate the power of a good diet suitable for your genes and body type. It can literally transform your body. And couple it with proper exercise too.

I don’t think he’s had implants to his face. Yes teeth and skin procedures but no surgery. Those changes are consistent with maturing and losing facial fat as we age. He was always a beautiful man even with bad skin and crooked teeth.

No, your jawline shape is mostly genetic, you can only make it more visible by lowering your bodyfat percentage. The only way to potentially change its shape (excluding surgery) is by injecting steroids like testosterone or growth hormone

I saw some dumb TikTok about never judging a book by its cover by showing his glow up and I never laughed louder. Ronaldo is the perfect example of a human becoming a product since his immense talent would naturally bring in massive sponsorships with sports and luxury brands but NOT with a face like that.

He never got surgery tho, just fixed his teeth and his skin, that’s it. He’s an athlete, and constantly running and making physical contact, Athlete’s can’t really get cosmetic surgery, if he did he would would have to been out for months to recover from his surgery’s and he never stopped playing.

seems to me that a lot of ppl are trying to make themselves feel better by assuming that ronaldo got plastic surgery done. he looks the same, and if he did get any surgery done it wasn’t for cosmetic purposes but rather because he has had injuries to his face while playing football. only thing that’s visibly changed is his teeth which is not really a big deal, people get braces and veneers everywhere. if ronaldo’s face was mainly plastic surgery then why don’t men who get plastic surgery look like him? 😂

Nose looks smaller and more defined in the after picture, and upper lip also looks fuller in the after.

Him getting his teeth adjusted had a lot of affect. It made him more confident and probably made him smile more, thus working his facial muscles, also he grew older... bam! the miracle of a healthy smile. :)

Doc, how did you get your eyebrows back?

Complete speculation obviously, but considering he’s an athlete, I wonder if the jaw changes were due to long term use of exogenous hormones like growth hormone which have been documented to change the facial structures especially the jaw and is frequently abused by athletes for recovery and healing.

I was born in portugal, the same island Ronaldo was born in. My father used to tell stories of how hed take care of Ronaldo when he was a kid, while his father was at the bar getting too wasted to look after him. And Ronaldo's mother was actually suffering because of that drinking problem his father had. Its a story no one would believe but i entirely garantee you its true. Man I wish I could meet him in person and ask him if he remembers..

He was and still is gorgeous! My friend is salesperson and has helped Ville many times. She says he is the most polite celebrity ever and she has met many... So he is beautiful inside too! I don't think he has done many surgeries because it's no so common in Finland (compared to USA) and he looks the same but naturally older.

I think he looks great now as well, just different. I was just super surprised how a face can change that much just with a set of new teeth. But maybe it could also be age as a factor. Anyway, I also think he has a beautiful mind and can't wait to see him live on stage this February ❤️

Since he always played, almost without injuries in his carrer, when would he recovered from those surgeries? Ok for the teeth, but I don't remember Ronaldo missing matches to recover from sugeries implants.
