I think what has always made Ronaldo especially dangerous from long range is his ability to rifle it with both feet. You just never know if he’s gonna switch to his other foot and shoot or not, easily the most both footed player of all time.

Ronaldo could take a shot on goal from literally anywhere on the field and make it a nightmare for the opposition goalkeeper

I still miss Ronaldo`s sprints, trademark knuckle balls and freekicks as much as Messi`s long run dribble goals and freekicks

You didn't watch Messi play live 2014-2021, that's why you don't know. Meanwhile, I've watched all of these Ronaldo shots in the video in either highlight comps or Seasonal comps over the years(have been watching for more than a decade)

He always played as a “Wide Forward/Winger” ever since the 2006-07 season (similar to Salah). Then transitioned into a pure No. 9. Messi has played as a False 9, wide-forward/winger, CAM (No. 10) and drops deep into midfield positions for playmaking.
