Crispy Smoked Wings on the Pit Boss Platinum Lockhart pellet grill!

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

I've tried a lot of different ways to get crispy skin on smoked wings, and I finally nailed it! I'll show you how in this video.
Simply toss wings in baking powder & salt, cook at 250 degrees F for 30 minutes, then flip and crank the heat to 425 degrees F, then check the internal temp and flip every 20 minutes until temp reaches 175 degrees F. I only had to flip them once before they were ready! Then sauce both sides and allow to cook about another 2-3 minutes and boom - crispy wings!
I used the Pit Boss Trophy Blend wood pellets for this cook - they are incredibly versatile and make any food taste delicious! Link: pitboss-grills.com/Shop-Pit-B...
For the sauce, I used Melinda's Cayenne-Habanero Wing Sauce and it did not disappoint! Link: amzn.to/3hYAo4a

    That’s how I usually do my wings. Just my .02, if you have the time to put them uncovered on a rack in the refrigerator for a few hours, the cold dry air really dries out that skin and they come out even crispier

  • @jackwebb5917

    @jackwebb5917

    Жыл бұрын

    @@blakeholland21 I do, I also dry brine while they’re in the fridge. I mix kosher salt and baking powder in a ziplock bag and coat the wings. Shake off the excess and put on a drying rack (so air can flow under the wings) and then on to the fridge preferably overnight but even a few hours will help

    Your wings look amazing and I'm not taking anything away from what you did but I want to see you do a video on these wings...watch this video kzread.info/dash/bejne/hGGgz5R9n6esfLQ.html. I watched the video and recreated the wings like Ry did and OMG! You have to do a video on these wings, like I am going to do, and tell me and your subscribers what you think. I smoked these wings to the "t" of the video with all the sauces and wow! You and your subscribers won't be disappointed guaranteed. You'll thank me for it - so delicious!
