In having this unfortunate loss , it only shows why other fighters dodged her so much . Because they know that if not confident and strong mentally - they only will join ranks of those defeated . Remember Manny Pacquiao when he was knocked out by Marquez (one punch ?) he showed the same class of sportsmanship. Classy fighters are well loved and they are the ones who can easily moved on and rise again to another level of success. Chris Cyborg will rise again and learn from her mistakes.

Cyborg is a true champion in the fact that she shows people the true manner in which a loss is handled .No hiding no ducking moving around avoiding cameras with towels on her head .She is very positive and faces the press and owns up to the responsibility of a high - level martial artist . Especially in this ego - inflated social media , negatively charged society . She is what is good about the UFC . She is a sales person for the brand and has shown people that champions get back up after a set back . I see her as more of a champion now than before the fight . I am sure that what - ever fan base she had has only increased in it's size .

I love how Cyborg said she did everything she needed to do to prepare for the fight. This is one of the greatest brawls. Cyborg continued forward while Nunes swung for the fences striking with leopard paw knuckles stepping back or trying to maintain her space. The Lioness proved when you corner a cat it turns. Nunes practices one of the hardest Convict Conditioning exercises, horizontal pull ups with weights which defies the Convict Condition system. The funny thing about the Pull Up chapter name is "Barn Door Back and Major Guns". Nunes has a Liddell solid shoulder rack. She strikes with the lower padded leopard's paw knuckles throwing haymakers which if blocked, opens you up to devastating abdomen kicks or strikes. Anyways, I'm getting buzzed and that's all the beans I'm going to spill.

Ikr? I know that feeling too. Hell in my life I fight for my families life instead of in a cage, I train on my own time period everybody. I never quit anymore, I'm doing it so I can be out of harms way. But I won't let that bother me any longer, I love and hate cris cyborg. I have no reasons to explain why. It gets to tiring everyday. I fight for my friends and do it to keep my cool in check.

Cris Cyborg is an excellent athlete and champion. She always believed in victory as all the champions believe, but she always said in the interviews that when the defeat came she would face it naturally. In my opinion the best MMA athlete among women, lost the fight because Amanda was more precise in exchanging punches, but her legacy no one extinguishes. The question remains: will you have a rematch?

She's so humble. And i like the way she answered those questions with a smile.

What a sweet and nice contrast with the so most of the fighters out there that are concerned about their egotistic little worlds and swearing every other word. How beautiful it is to be humble. You are a Champ on people's hearts.

She has an awesome disposition. The only thing that’s concerning about the loss is that once the stigma of invincibility has been broken, other fighters will know that it can be done… Which is why quite often when someone loses after a ridiculously crazy streak, they go on to have a much more mixed bag of results for the rest of their career. But I hope she’s gets right back in track.

Head high, nothing to he ashamed about. You will come back stronger!!!

Cyborg is getting old, and underestimated Nunes power by been defenseless. There should be a rematch but this time, at a higher catch-weight because Nunes came in looking as big as a lioness while Cyborg came in looking as tiny as a leopard.
