You know honestly between the furries and bronies and all the cosplayers weather its anime or starwars or star trek and video games and all that kind of stuff people do, nothing surprises me anymore. I never understood fandoms to begin with. I can understand someone liking something. I cant understand why they want to revolve their entire life/identity around that thing. It really doesnt matter if its a cartoon or game or tv show. Have your own identity. You dont have to attach yourself to something and make your entire existance about it. Just be satisfied with enjoying it. I loved farscape but i dont go around dressing like a peace keeper. I mean not the full costume. But their jackets were cool looking. I would wear the jacket if i had one. But im not obcessed enough to pay a ton of money for one and its less about liking the show and more about just liking the design of the jacket.

if you aren't and you are actually LEARNING from these shows messages there was something terribly wrong with your upbringing where you didn't grow up meaning you are all literally manchildren, watching the show for enjoyment is one thing, I'm 26 and have been a pokemaniac for 20 years and don't plan on stopping, but I don't go out spreading the message to other adults because it is SOCIALLY WEIRD and that is OKAY, it is OKAY to enjoy this stuff in private

Same here, I have to confess to this but my mom gave me her old smartphone and since I liked rainbow dash so damm much I found inappropriate pictures of her on google images and downloaded them. (not porn although my mom would beat the shit outta me if she found porn) My mom eventually found out, she didn’t scold me or whatever. She reminded me that the government can track you down blah blah blah and so fourth. And that’s how I pretty much lost interest in the Brony fanbase & honestly...THANK GOD.

As an autistic girl I agree with you %100. I relate to him so mush regarding the special interest aspect. And the only problem I have with these compilations is when specifically narrowing down to specific fan bases like MLP or cosplay. Autistic diagnosed individuals tend to have a specific special interest. Special interests can range from something as broad as trains to as small as a book series written by an underground author. Many individuals are in these cringe compilations and because of that ableism is still being normalized by these compilations. And back to on how I relate to him also is not recognizing social cues and understanding what to do in social situations. It’s hard for me to communicate with people and they often end up not wanting to be around me because of my mannerisms that I can’t help. Seeing you comment and others like yours bringing light to cringe compilations makes me feel included and cared about. Thank you for reading my thoughts, and I hope you have a lovely day!

The guy at the graduation ceremony has my respect. He may be spouting cringy things but at least he is doing something with his life.

Th guys walking through the mall made me uncomfortable. It is like they are warning all the little children to run whenever they hear that song because the pedophiles are coming. It is ok to be a brony if that is what you choose but eeek!!!

I used to enjoy this show back when I was younger, like eight or nine. Then I turned older, and I realized that it was kinda cheesy. I still sometimes catch a small tidbit, and I enjoy how the show teaches children to understand things like friendship and social skills and all that, but some of these people just hurt my soul. I think the people that just casually watch it, the ones who just enjoy the colors or the morals or whatever, those people are all cool. It's the ones that have to take things way too far that make me want to drink an entire bathtub of gasoline and then eat a box of lit matches, so nice work. Dank ass cringe comp my man, keep it up.
