Crimson Gem Saga Review for the PlayStation Portable

Ойындар

Crimson Gem Saga is one of my favorite games on the PSP, and as far as I'm concerned this is a must-have title. If you enjoy traditional JRPGs that have aged wonderfully, this is the one for you.

I bought this game a year or so ago from a thrift store for a few bucks. I haven't gotten around to playing it yet, but I'm excited to try it now!

The image quality is awesome. I would love a game like this with real time battles. But it seems fun

Thanks for the heads up on the VGP deal! I bought this along with Hexyz Force and Persona 1 at sale prices I otherwise would have missed.

This game is so criminally underrated it's sad. I absolutely love the normal battle theme, and the boss theme is one of the best I've ever heard.

i played this game a while back and was really enjoying it, then i accidentally fell off a cliff into a different area while trying to figure out where to go, then i stupidly saved it after falling into that area and could not for the life of me find my way back to where i was. i area i was stuck in was full of strong, tough to avoid enemies, i was running around in circles for hours while getting stuck in these battles. i was by myself too which made it much harder, i think i had a couple party members but then we got separated or something, i can't quite remember. anyhow i think i'm gonna give it another go and be much more careful about my saving habits, because that was really annoying.

Just bought it today. There was also Tales of Eternia but this was one I'd heard was lesser known so I couldn't resist being one of few to know it's truth.

I don't know. It looks cool. It reminds me of the old Ragnarok Online MMO's with the 2-D sprites, but with cool turn-based battles which to me, never gets old. This is one of many titles I need to seek out, own, and play at some point. As always, thanks dude. Also, look at those sweet 2-D bouncing boobie animations at the 5:00 marker. LOL, it's hilarious detail like that in lo-fi 2-D sprites that makes me miss this style of RPG's.

TheCaptain008 Its 2D sprites, skill tree system, and card slot system reminded me so much of Ragnarok Online when I played it. If I remember correctly, the game was made by a Korean game studio. I guess they took some inspiration from Gravity's Ragnarok Online.

Jarrod if you ask him again the hidden character will reluctantly give you a further 10,000 Gelders, for a total of 20,000. Spend it wisely :)

Apparently, it got removed from the PlayStation Store from what I've heard. So, I think you might have no choice but to use some "illegal" methods to do so. It should be obvious what I'm referring to when it comes to that option. Otherwise, just buy a PSP and a physical copy of this game if you want it legally.

Looks good if you're into turn based rpgs. That's the best thing I could come up with without insulting an entire genre lol

For PSP games, yes there's usually not a problem with PS TV.
