Gone up in price somewhat since I bought one a few years ago! Got it for crimping a few thousand of the yellow crimps. The reds are ok to hand crimp, but the yellows need much more force. This tool was literally a wrist saver.

Alright for £730. Not for the average spark. I love tools but even I couldn’t justify that 😂

Since this is an unknown brand, and known brands like milwaukee and Dewalt etc make crimpers like this for half the price? Ya, no. Lol

I’ve been making control panels for over 30 years and used ratchet crimpers all the time . I’ve had carpel tunnel operations in both my hands probably caused by repetitive use of manual crimpers.I bought one of these crimpers about 5 years ago and it’s a game changer expensive but worth it. Before this I was using the klauke manual crimper with interchangeable die’s which also fit the battery one .The battery has a very long run time and has never let me down .

Excellent point. As I crimp more things, I will consider it. As more of a hobbyist, it's more expensive than I can justify at this time.

Uncaptured non-quick release screws will be lost day 1. Loose heads will be lost almost as fast. Will sit in the box against three tools that don't take 5x as long fiddling with heads, AND those three tools cost less than 20% as much.

I build control panels for work and we have the same crimpers. I find that using hand crimpers for 10mm and below ferrules is faster and easier. For insulated terminals though I always use this tool whenever there's more than a couple crimps to be made, no matter the size - just to save my hands. It's especially handy for lug terminals.

I thought Klauke was in the Bosch AmpShare program for use with the ProCore batteries😅

I need to fix some 3 phase 125Amp cables with CEE connectors. I think the 5 internal wires are 25mm or 35mm squared. Is there any budget alternatives to this kind of tool ?

They can use a different insert (sold separately) to crimp it back on!

600 squid! I just got a ratchet crimper with all the dies for 20 squid on hamazon - I won't cry if that gets nicked on site - and I won't need yet another charger I can't find - can't see any benefits - although suppose this electric one will save your right hand muscles for other activities 🤣

Is it considered a mental health issue when you have to add solder after crimping?

It’s a bad idea to do. Solder isn’t flexible and can cause connections to fail.

Have got one of these and would not be with out it now .

I expect they will sell absolutely none to the normal spark, this is for panel builders

The price is INSANE.

Where did you get the cable cutting die? What’s the code for it? I can’t find it one online.

I guess people who do this everyday for most of the day, if it can save you from arthritis I would say it is worth it.

No way that machine is worth over £700.
