Nah, the trick is to seperate early... If your buddies say: "Hey guys let's go to the graveyard and play with this wierd doll that i found in that wierd house down town and after that we can go to my grandpa's cabin in the woods to play with a spirit board" Just say: "Nah i'm good, i'm going to drink beers with Judy and live a long and productive life..." Every time, these days, I read people saying a movie is "actually pretty good", the movie turns out to have plot holes the size of highway tunnels, bad acting, lame lighting, bland characters, overly predictable scripts. This seems like one of those. Young people might be impressed, because they have seen very few films and don't have critical thinking. I haven't seen a truly impressive film for 20 years, and the best ones are about average compared to films of 1900-2004.

Yea I didn't like this movie. Wasn't interested in seeing it at all until I saw it had really good reviews. So I watched it. Unimpressed. I think because it was Angus clouds last movie people were a bit kinder in the reviews. But he dies really early on so idk maybe people really did like it.

The fact they made it obvious she was a vampire in the previews told you they weren’t creative enough to make a good movie. They should have played it off as a kidnapping where they do the “you don’t know who you’re messing with”, implying it was the mob or something. It could have had a huge psychological component.

She is one smart vampire I’m impressed 👍

It is pretty shocking.

What a genius team of criminals. Sure, they wear masks, but they still leave enough exposed to make them easily identifiable. And their codeword for the child ballet dancer they plan on kidnapping is "tiny dancer". So authorities would really have no problem pinning the crime on them if their cryptic text messages are uncovered. "Hmmm, 'tiny dancer is on the move'. I wonder what that means. Ya know, I'm not positive here, but I feel like we might have found our culprits." 🤡 Top-notch intelligence on display with these folks.

Kevin Durand is underrated. Worked with Hugh Jackman a couple of times, speaks fluent French, always fun to watch. Blond-haired girl is Kathryn Newton. Had a recurring character on Supernatural, and has been golfing since she was 8. She gave Jimmy Fallon a wedge and a driver, each has been labelled in some way to show they belong to him.

Most of the cast was fun to watch. There was also Kevin Steven, Giancarlo Esposito, Matthew Goode ( Ozymandias from The Watchman ) . I would say Matthew and Kevin are even more underrated.

The first time I saw him was in this 2006 action packed classic movie called Smoking Aces where different kinds of Mercenaries are trying to kill this cocaine gambling addict for this huge bounty, but all of them ends up having to also fight each other to get to the guy. The Cast is Tier S, Ray Liotta, Ryan Reynolds before fame, Jeremy Piven ( from Entourage show ), Ben Affleck, Chris Pine ( before fame ) and many other famous faces before fame I won't spoil. Definitely watch it man, it's a classic now. Watch it and let me know!

I don't get why everyone is calling this movie really good. It wasn't. The ending was so ridiculous. I want interested in seeing this movie until I saw it had such good scores so I watched it. The ending was so stupid. I'm pretty sure if this wasn't Angus clouds last movie than people wouldn't have been as kind on the reviews.

Haven’t still Seen the Movie, but I‘m very interested because it it could be a better version of „Demon Girl“ from 2016/2017, maybe the best Alternative, i hope. And in my opinion Abigail look a little more Like a Demon than a Vampire. Don‘t know „Angus Cloud“.

Maybe he was too "fresh" 😂 Also, it seems there are multiple vampire types/species in this movie that aren't elaborated on. We can't assume the full extent of their abilities. When all logic fails, the only explanation left is "plot magic". At the end of the day it's fiction, and that means vampires can fly, live forever, sparkle, projectile vomit acid from a bite of pizza, use mind powers, be super attractive, be super ugly, turn into bats or something, and the one I personally find the weirdest...a/b/o dynamics. That last one- I was never the same again. God help us all.

Maybe not strength since she is still stuck in a childs body, but its as you say, she should be able to use blood magic or something that makes her apart from just a regular "pawn". Yes theres also many different types of vampires. As some of the superior vampires are daywalkers and some cant transform while others can.

Edit: A much better question is why she didn’t have metal shutters over all the windows and doors? Really going to have one boarded up and one stained glass left completely alone?
